Rowlinson Knitwear is one of the renowned brands in UK that deal with manufacturing of formal garments such
as school wear and corporate wear. By looking today’s awareness, quality is more crucial to customers and
they are less sensitive towards the prices, so the company aims to provide excellent quality of products or
services to order to gain large access of customers across the globe. also, the respective firm abide all rules
and regulations and promote health and safety of their staff and various child labour regulations that generate
positive reputation across the globe. The respective firm is planning to expand its business by providing
offerings such as traditional wear and casual wear which gain large access of customers by emphasising more
on quality specification and focus on eliminating errors or defects from products.
Objectives:
Short term (current year):
To improve communication skills within three months so that an appropriate planning can be made and
also help in decision making and also it aids in avoiding confusions and misunderstandings.
To have knowledge of advanced technical skills within six months as it helps in increasing the
knowledge base and skills and also help in conducting fast operations in an effective and efficient manner.
To render effective training among the staff so as to make them capable of handling sophisticated
machines and thus increase the productivity and efficiency at a workplace.
Medium term (next 1 – 2 years):
To increase the sales by 20% in next two years which in turn boost the profitability as the firm
emphasise on quality specifications which generate maximum number of customers from different parts of the
country.
To hire potential and excellent candidates and also the roles and also the roles and responsibilities
should be assigned in accordance to their specialisation so that they could work with greater zeal and produce
desired level of output.
The manager should make long term planning so as to facilitate proper coordination and cooperation
and also it should make judicious usage of resources which saves both cost and time.

Rowlinson Knitwear is planning to expand its operation in Australia which is one of the developed

margin in a marketplace.
Also, the firm is planning to use new and advanced technology and incur huge investment on machines
which help in conducting fast and smooth operations of business.
The firm is also planning to bring new and innovative products such as casual and traditional wear so
as to contribute a significant position at a global level and also it ensures to gain sustainable
development in a long run.

Start Up loan can be used for several purposes in a business. It could help in acquisition of sophisticated
machineries and advanced technologies which increase the efficiency and productivity in an organisation. also,
it helps in expanding of business in different country like Australia as it requires land and efficient labour that
help in accomplishment of task. The company purchase products in a bulk quantity from suppliers at credit so
startup loan is required for making payments to them.

business:
I have four years of experience as I worked in field related to sales and marketing operation in huge firms like
ALDI which in turn increase the productivity and profitability within the confirms of retailing industry and also, I
worked as HR assistant in Sainsbury for eight months. These inculcate confidence and determination and
provide me an opportunity to start my business.

I had acquired several technical skills and completed my post-graduation in marketing field and also, I
completed my schooling studies in London. I have completed my internship programme of three months in one
of the reputed FMCG company that help me gain several areas of knowledge in sales and marketing that
provide a wonderful experience and allows to gain maximum exposure and increase the knowledge in
marketing operations. This provide a great learning opportunity and help me to make my business to the next
level.
Outline any transferable skills, talents or traits you have that are relevant to your business:
I have problem solving skills and have ability to cope up with pressure and also, I have computer knowledge
such as Tally, Ms Excel and MS Word that help in conducting fast operations of a business. In addition to this, I
am very particular for time management and discipline that help me in completion of task in a very short span
of time. Also, my quick decision making ability and rendering an effective solution to clients help in gaining
customer loyalty and ensure efficiency in a workplace.

There is lack of proper communication skills which results in misunderstandings among the subordinates and
thus create conflicts. So as to manage such conflict, it is necessary that there should be proper guidance and
division of work among the staff and proper clarity of roles and responsibilities which promote mutual
understandings and also develop a sense of team spirit among them by promoting unity of command in a
respective firm.
