Strategy Development 2 Key Things That I learned in this Module:The module really was very well researched and it made me learn many new things which I was not aware of. The key things that I learnt from this unit are: 1.The Strategic Management Process:The process has explained me that how I should develop strategies for my future plans the unit was full of explanation for the need of strategies at the different level of management. I have explored that strategy development is necessary in all fields of life (Schillin, 2019). 2.The Environment:In this unit, I have learnt that the environment plays an important role in framing the decisions.It’sbetter to analyze all risk, challenges, opportunities associated with the internal and external environment, so that the decision taken afterwards is beneficial for an individual and the organization. 3.Strategic Capability:This unit has made me learnt how to gain a better position in the market than the competitors i.e. competitive advantage and now I am capable of doing the SWOT Analysis of myself as well as of my organization to gain the competitive edge (Dyson, 2014). 4.Strategic Purpose:This unit had explained me the need of the social responsibility that the business should take care of abidingall the government compliances for the sustainability of the stakeholders. 5.Culture and Strategy:This unit has made me aware that the cultural swift makes difference in the strategy making in an organization. The managers should look into the cultural perspective while designing the strategies for the company (Morecroft, 2019). 6.Business Level Strategy:Under this unit I have learnt that how to prove your company the best while competing with the various competitors present in the
Strategy Development 3 market, it made me understood the relation between the collaboration of different companies and the competition present in the market. 7.Corporate Level Strategy:This unit taught me the importance of alternative strategy that which strategy the organization should take to analyze its portfolio. 8.International Strategy:Under this unit I have learnt hat how to develop strategies to go into the international market. I have understood that there exits different modes of market entering, the thing that is need to be remembered is the culture, competitors present in the market (Burgelman, 2013). 9.Strategy Methods and Evaluation:From this last unit, I have learnt about the different techniques to evaluate the acceptability, suitability and feasibility of a working strategy. Yes of course the study of this unit has made me learn many new things, I feel myself developed as a professional and also personally. Now before taking any decision I chalk out different strategies so that I might get the best possible solution. My organization wanted to develop and introduce a tourism package into the Australian Market, after a week’s work I presented a report that focused on introducing the package in New Zealand, as I did a research with the help of strategies development I learnt in this unit. The reason behind choosing New Zealand Market was that I understood that the people of this place wants to see new places and I developed different strategies related to the International market strategy and corporate level strategy. I got this project in my company and now I am developing strategies to gain competitive advantage in the new market. Personally also, now I took a charge of developing strategies considering different alternatives present. Like, if I need to purchase any item from the market, I look out for the various options available in the market then only I make the purchase.
Strategy Development 4 Yes, there is always chance to learn more as strategy development is very vast, in the unit of International Strategy, the more focus can be given on understanding the different international market and then strategies development should be focused on totally depending upon the new market.
