What is the main
thesis of the paper
The objective of this paper is to evaluate
the impact of industrial activities on the
health aspects (Eckelman & Sherman,
2016). The impact is analysed in
conjunction to pollution to air, water, and
soil and it corresponding harmful effect on
public health.
What are the main
findings of the
work?
Industrial pollutants have indirect impact
on public health which is measured in
terms of disability-adjusted life-years
(DALYs). The estimate DALYs is 470,000
loss from pollution related diseases, which
indirectly affect 44000-98000 people who
die in US each year.
How are you
assured of accuracy
within the paper
The industrial pollutants were analysed
with respect to green-house gas (GHG)
emission per year and correlated with the
health effects in US with GHG emission.
The data were collected from official
sources, however, no measures were
taken to evaluate their accuracy.
