The proposal also addresses concerns about national identity, legislation, and the impact on foreign influence in US politics.

Presidential Election should be remained as it is
To begin this proposal it must be said United States has always been the place for living
the dreams of all the people. Whoever has gone to this place, has earned his or her name
throughout hard work with eyes full of ambitions. This is why USA is considered as one of the
biggest melting pots for assimilating different people from different cultures within the society.
Diversity has always been one of the most important key points for the development of the
country (McManamon, 2014). Therefore, some critics are of the opinion that presidents should
be elected from outside the country as well. The protests should begin from this point only since
USA has been a huge country with a rich history. Anyone coming from outside the country and
becoming the President is not acceptable at all. The diversity among the people of the country is
very much encouraged but it must be said that a person who is born and brought up in USA only
will have better chances to govern the country in the best manner.
It has to be proposed that the President of the United States should always be a person
who is born in the country only. Through the Constitution of United States says that ‘natural-
born’ people can run for the post of President, people hailing from other sections of the world
should not be acknowledge for this post (McManamon, 2014). There are millions of people in
USA who come from other countries and work very hard. This does not give them the right to be

elected as the supreme powerful person of the land. On the contrary to the previous proposal, it
can be countered that national identity of a person can work as a barrier to become the President
of United States of America. It is quite evident that the natural born citizens of USA should be
eligible to become the President of the country (Lee, 2017). It is because they know all the
minute details about the country. In fact, they have an affinity with the climate, education, health,
literature and all things that are related to the country. So, they can implement the plans and
strategies that would be better and most appropriate for the country. They will have soft feelings
for his fellow citizens in the country and they will sympathize for all sorrowful incidents they
will face (Lee, 2017).
The legislations of the United States Constitution will also allow the Native American
citizens to become the President of the country. The age factor of thirty five years minimum is
not at all a big deal for the native citizens. The Constitution states the candidate for President
should be a resident of the country for at least fourteen years (Clement & Katyal, 2014).
Supporting this view, it can be said that it would be better if that candidate is staying the country
from his or her birth. There are other things that are considered in the Presidential selection of a
person. According to the Article 1, Section 3, Clause 7, any candidate convicted with cases of
impeachment shall not be able to compete in the election. The former US President Barrack
Obama was born in Hawaii (Clement & Katyal, 2014). However, there are some issues related to
language in some parts of the country. Only a native person would be able to know about all
these segments. So, it is definitely better to appoint a native US citizen to be appointed as the
President of USA (Vlahoplus, 2018).
In this situation, it is advisable that both President and Vice President should belong to
the United States as a natural born person. Some media influencers had flashed news that

Barrack Obama was born in Kenya. This was not at all persuasive news since everyone knew
that Hawaii was the home state of Mr. Barrack Obama. However, the proper definition of the
word “natural-born-citizen” has not been used properly. Therefore, critics assume that it will be
better to appoint the people who were born in the United States. Therefore, it is very much
important to note that people born in United States will be familiar with the natural and
constitutional history of the country (Vlahoplus, 2018). Many legal objections have been raised
in this case so the law makers will have to think this procedure as the one through which
deserved candidates would be elected as the President of United States.
A clause has been there regarding the citizenship of United States. It is the matter that the
legal requirements in this situation include the fact that any person who was a US citizen at the
time of his or her birth can become the President. Critics have opined that citizenship of the
country is based on the citizenship of their parents (Arnheim, 2018). Therefore, it is not a viable
solution indeed. It should be made mandatory that President of United States should be born in in
the US soil. It will make him formidable candidate for the Presidential seat. Apart from this,
some issues can be ignored as well (Parlett, 2014). The parental citizenship should also be given
some importance in this respect. If at least one of their parents is born in USA, he or she should
be permitted to become the President of the county. However, the differences between the two
terms “native-born” and “natural-born” have been removed by the explanation provided in the
Fourteenth Amendment of the United States Constitution (Arnheim, 2018). In contrast with the
given proposal, I would like to propose that the current legislation should always stay in practice
and it should contribute ti the requirements of becoming the President of the country (Muller,
2015).

The clause of “natural-born” is an extremely helpful one to keep the foreign influence out
from the US politics. The people born in the United States are very much able to govern their
own country as they know almost everything about their country and they do not need any
outside influence to get the necessary information about USA (Muller, 2014). Therefore, it
would be a great help for the American citizens to govern the country. I would like to highlight
another thing in this regard. Outsiders of USA will only govern the country bounded by their
sense of responsibility without any pride and passion (Muller, 2015). This can only be
understood and felt by a true nationalist with utmost love and passion for the country. In order to
make this happen, that person must be born on the American soil. Otherwise, he will never think
of the betterment and welfare of the country and well being of the common people of USA. So, I
ardently propose that the current legislation and rules should be there only (Kadre, 2015).
I must clarify certain things in this matter. One is the fact that the shadow of terrorism has
always loomed large on the United States after the attacks of 9/11. Some amendments should be
done on this situation. No outsiders should be allowed to contest in the Presidential elections in
USA (Wyatt, 2015). Therefore, all the past records of the individual should be examined before
they submit the nomination for the seat. Apart from that the support of the Congress of the
country, support from the various political activist groups should be sought to make the thorough
check up on the legitimacy of the candidate (Bashford, 2014). It should be checked if there are
any criminal cases pending in the name of that particular person in all states of the country. The
national identity cards should be issued at the time of the birth for those people. In order to make
all these amendments, proper supports should be invited from all the people of all ethnicities
within the country (Fisher, 2014).

All the American children should possess the aim of becoming the supreme administrator
of the country one day. Then only this country can become free of any foreign influence,
Children should be inspired by the messages of the international leaders so they can aspire to
govern the greatest nation of the country (Fisher, 2014). I also propose that USA born children
should be given the additional responsibility of making the children of other immigrant people to
realize the greatness of the country and its value. This is how the country will attain more
greatness (Bashford, 2014). The love and passion of all native children should be utilized to
govern the country better. I propose that values and beliefs of this great country should be taught
to the children of other immigrants as well.
In the Bill of Rights, the amendments will give special power to all the native children of
the country. It will lead the native people to form a national federal government where patriotism
will be the most important factor. Some critics have argued that discrimination will be made if
only US born people are given the power to become the President of the country. Rather I
propose it will increase the sense of patriotism and intensity of the country. It will steer USA to
be the best always.
This plea for keeping the presidential election method to keep as its is can be justified by
saying tha a native American knows his or her country at the best. It is very difficult for an
outsider to be conformed to the situations in the same manner. They might know about minute
facts about the country from the books but only a Native American will be able to feel that
patriotism in his or her blood. In the current scenario, we have witnessed the level of hypocrisy
that is made for the power but American people who really have feelings for their countries will
never betray their homeland. This is why this Bill of Rights should stay as it is.
