INTRODUCTION This report contains explanation about Culture which have five important elements named as values, rituals, symbols, beliefs, symbols and thoughts processes.Culture can be defined as the complex view of the whole society. The word Culture includes everything by which identity is given to the society. The five very basic characteristics all cultures have are learning, sharing, symbolic, integrating and dynamic.It has also explained the impact of such cultural factors on the working of the organisation business operations and its impact on goal achievement. Furthermore, suggestions related to the improvement in the cultural dimension of the business organisation has been given. The significance ofHofstede’s Cultural Dimensions has been discussed emphasizing on the cultural dimensions importance (Hunt, A. and Tickner, S., 2015). 1
MAIN BODY 1. Evaluating the significance ofHofstede’s Cultural Dimensions. Hofstede’s Cultural Dimensions Theory explains the effects of a society's culture, beliefs and rituals on the value its team members or employees. It also shows that by using a structure as derived from the factor analysis how these values, norms, beliefs relates to thebehaviour(Hunt, A. and Tickner, S., 2015). Significance of Hofstede’s Cultural Dimensions are as follows: 1. The Hofstede’s Cultural Dimensions theory has been used in various fields such as research, cross-cultural psychology and communication, international management. 2.Hofstede Cultural Dimensions theory acknowledges that the cultural dimensions identified basically emphasizes on the culture and values as Theoretical constructions which are important tools which can be used in real life practical applications (Bakir, A., Blodgett, and et. al., 2015). 3. The Culturaldimensions togetherportray the impact of theculture which it has deployedin the society values & on the members of society. The theory with the help of a structure based on the factor analysis has described the relationship between the values and behaviour. 4. It is considered as one of the most important and detailed study which explain that how the values are influenced by culture in the workplace. 5. It is also considered as afive very basic characteristics which all cultures have which are learning, sharing, symbolic, integrating and dynamic(Bakir, A., Blodgett, and et. al., 2015). 6.It has also explained the impact of such cultural factors on the working of the organisation business operations and its impact on goal achievement. Suggestions made are: 1. Organisation in uncertainty avoidance culture should have more rules, regulations and norms in order to ensure that employees of the organisation don't deviates from the expected standards. 2

Strong relationship among employees - Relationship should be well established, good and appropriate among the employees of the business organisation. There should be no conflicts, arguments among subordinates, peers one and senior(Susskind, L.E., 2017). 2. Pay scale or salary - The salary or pay scale of employees must be equal and adequate for every employee at same domain working in the same industry to avoid dissatisfaction among the employees. 3. Recognition - If workof theemployees is praised or recognised by its team leader, it will lead to increase in the motivational level of employees, improves performance level and lead to satisfaction (Susskind, L.E., 2017).It will also help in attainment of individual as well as organisational goals. 4. Fostering open communication - Communication plays a vital role in the growth and progress of every business organisation. It helps in smooth functioning of the company's business operations thereby leading to achievement of organisational goals and objectives (Susskind, L.E., 2017). 5. Resource allocation - Allocation of the natural and business resources wisely for conducting 3
business operations and processes is one of the most important business strategy. Sustainable use of the business resources helps the company as well as individual in future availability of resources (Susskind, L.E., 2017). 6. Supportive attitude - Every organisation's employee should have a supportive attitude for each another in the company by helping in solving the case study, problems. It thus fosters effective communication between the employees of the organisation too. It helps the company in improving the performance level and thus lead to the growth and development of the company. 4
