INTRODUCTION
Learning study skills is crucial since they will not only help a person achieve in university,
but also in life. A person's confidence, competence, and self-esteem may all be boosted by good
study skills. They can also help with exam and deadline anxiety. An individual may be able to
reduce the amount of hours spent studying by acquiring excellent study abilities, allowing more
time for other activities in their life (McDougall and Holden, 2017). A person's capacity to
acquire and remember information can be improved with good study habits. Students who
employ excellent study techniques may feel that their time and effort are more useful.
Although the employment market is competitive, having a degree can assist students in
obtaining higher-paying positions after graduation. This is because university-learned
capabilities are known as transferrable talents, and companies appreciate them in the job. The
aim of this essay is to identify abilities that students need to succeed at university and to explain
why they are equally relevant in the job. In addition, the essay aims to provide ideas that might
assist students in improving the substance of their CVs.
MAIN BODY
Life Skills are a collection of fundamental guidelines that may be learned or achieved via
actual life experiences. They are significant because they have a beneficial impact on a person's
life. All of these qualities are necessary for success in the twenty-first century, not just for a
healthy society but also for successful individuals (Booyens, 2020). As a result, it is critical to
begin developing skills in children at a young age. Critical thinking, creative art and craft work,
decision-making, problem-solving, the capacity to cooperate and communicate, as well as a
feeling of personal and societal duty to contribute good citizenship, are all examples of
necessary Skill.
Skills are essential for an individual since they assist them in developing themselves and
their careers, which will lead to future success. To be successful at university, students must
possess a variety of talents. A number of them are examined in further detail, as well as their
relevance in the workplace (Johansson, 2017). First skill is Adaptability which is a valuable
quality since it allows us to be more flexible in our daily lives. The world is always changing,
and it is up to you to adapt to those changes. Take notice that your ability to adapt to change
ensures that you are always ready to achieve and survive no matter what comes your way. Put it
