Committing to CSR activities, it helps to improve overall reputation forthe organization and provide competitive advantages. Development of CSR strategies isconsidered important element from competitiveness of a company. CSR metric helps to measureand have aim to assess performance of an organization in the perspectives of fulfilling socialdemands.Organizational backgroundIn the present study, SEFUEL is taken as case study. The organization is a gas station aswell as retail store with several suppliers along with products or services. The small enterprisewants to expand profitability through sourcing from suppliers providing quality products atreasonable price (Lee et al. 2013). In addition, the organization likes to provide effectivecustomer service in order to increase satisfaction of the customers. The company provides a largenumber of products or services like petrol, diesel and engine lubricants. Along with these,tobacco products, dairy products as well as coca cola products are sold by the company. The organization follow business strategy to create own loyalty program and spruce upamenities. In addition, setting up regular contests for customers and creating corporate socialresponsibility activities is followed by SEFUEL as business strategy.
