INTRODUCTION Social health care sector is essential for individuals who need social care. It is essential tocarry out things in accordance with the needs and wants of persons. Care workers play anessential role to give the best services to their service users. Present report based on support workin social care sector. For this present report, The National Health Service has been taken intopractise. Furthermore, it will discuss about the roles of non-direct care workers and interpersonalskills required for them. It will also cover the importance of supervision and management in thedevelopment of non-direct care workers. LO 1P1. Roles of non-direct care workersNon- direct care workers are not directly connected with the specific job. They are the helperswho helps in social care sector at different stages (Knott and Scragg, eds., 2016). Such as InNHS organisation in which non-direct care workers are laundry staff, catering staff, cleaningstaff. Besides, in health care sector, there are several sectors such as residential care homes,nursing homes, day care centres or individual homes. In social care centres, non-direct workers are may be belong from office staff,administrator, gardener, cleaner, security staff, driver, and caterer. Non-direct workers arethe supportive individuals who support NHS. Each non-direct worker plays an important role in the organisation. It helps to maintainthe working environment of the company in order to ensure the working activities. Without having support of non-direct workers, none of the organization could performbetter to provide social care services to service users. Overall, the main role of the social care worker is to help the organisation to achieve thegoals and objectives (Lawrence and et.al., 2016). Moreover, non-direct worker is a person who takes care of needs of service users andprovide them the best care services. This is the role of non-direct workers in social healthcare sector. 1
