P1. Roles of non-direct care workers
 Non- direct care workers are not directly connected with
specific job. They are the helpers who help in social care sector
at different stages (Knott and Scragg, eds., 2016). For example:
NHS, where non-direct care workers are laundry staff, catering
staff, cleaning staff, etc.
 Besides, in health care sector, there are several sectors such as
residential care homes, nursing homes, day care centres or
individual homes.
 In social care centres, non-direct workers belong to office staff,
administrator, gardener, cleaner, security staff, driver and
caterer. Non-direct workers are the supportive individuals who
support NHS. Each non-direct worker plays an important role in
the organisation.

ensure the working activities.
 Without support of non-direct workers, no organization could
perform better to provide social care services to service users.
 Overall, main role of social care worker is to help the organisation
to achieve set goals and objectives.
 Moreover, non-direct worker is the person who takes care of the
needs of service users and provide them the best care services. This
is the role of non-direct workers in the social health care sector.
