Social care in United Kingdom defines as provisionof personal care, social support and also protection services to adults as well as services at risk orneeds, adults with the requirements which are arising from the disability, poverty and Laosillness. Under this given report mentions about the roles of the non- direct care workers. The roleof non- direct care workers in order to maintaining the safety, health and security in caringenvironment will be discussed in this report.TASK 1P1 Roles of non-direct care workersNon-direct care workers are those staff members which are not particularly assigned tospecific care area. They work in health care organisation but not directly included with particularjob. Under this the non- direct care workers are office staff, managers, pharmacists. There aresome roles of the non- direct care employees with care homes given below as above:Office staff- Under this maintenance, receptionists, laundry staff are included. They are allworking for maintaining the better conditions of health care houses. Laundry staff Their main role is to clean residents rooms, change beds, tidies hallways, lounge etc. It is necessary that they have the good skills like for an instance good manners,cleaning skills, confidence and also communication. Their role is to clean laundry in a proper manner and no one residents should not illfrom clothing and also bedding.They should take care about the cleanliness so from this people will feel hygienic.ReceptionistsTheir role to direct visit in a proper direction, notify nurses when tourists arrive forresident, give them appointments, answering their phones and many others.The skills which are needed to receptionists are confidence, communication skills, ITskills, good manners etc. Their major role is to answering the questions of visitors, book appointments, greetvisitors etc.1
