Tourism is generally travelling which is done for pleasure and fun or sometimes business.
The practice of tourism is a type of business done globally to attract people in places for visit and
enjoy. This all includes accommodation and entertainment. As per sustainability the tourism is a
concept that focuses on developing artificial services so that it can be preserved for longer
duration (Astawa, Triyuni, and Santosa, 2018). This aims in conserving resources and protect
existence. In this report sustainable tourism is discussed in which consideration of economic,
cultural and environmental impacts of activities done in tourism for present and future generation
is done. In this report a essay has been made with respect to tourism industry discussing features,
their principle and theories and how responsibilities of management is done in the sustainable
tourism. At last of this report the discussion of how to achieve sustainability for tourism and
stakeholder engagement with approaches to manage tourism is considered.

The sustainable tourism can be elaborated by a type of tourism that has more positive
impact on environment than negative impacts as it promotes sustainability in environmental
resources and to the economy as well as communities. A best sustainability and responsible
based tourism industry make places of destinations better for people to live as well as attract
attention to visit. The sustainable tourism industry is all aims in creating travel opportunities with
putting less bad impact and more benefits for destinations. The all tourism based on
sustainability is focused on educating tourists regarding nature and environment with creating
cultural activities (Perles Ribes, and Ivars Baidal, 2018). The main features of sustainable
tourism include many activities which are essential to be practised in better tourism planning,
this includes protecting the environment, natural resources and wildlife which are most crucial
part of nature. This things are meant to protected as this parts are the visual attraction that tourist
want to see. Sustainable tourism provides socio economic benefits for local communities as the
local who live in the destination are limited to the place but as per the benefit of tourism
customers are created there and rise of new opportunities such as hotel industry, guide services,
transportation services which are opportunities for business in the area. The concept of

how currently it is practised as other organisation have different goals to be achieved and they
will use sustainability to achieve it. In context to tourism sustainability have different perspective
like development that meets the needs of present without put an adverse effect in the ability of

organisation and culture, this shows evolution of sustainable development will be present and
continuous as the scenario changes (Maingi, 2019).

look in standing out from the competition. This needs both short and long term plantings. A
destination management works on cases such as tourism boards and other convention. A
destination management organisation must have to engage in various activities that will help in
developing and promoting sustainable tourism. The practices include educating the travellers
about the location they are visiting and offering that they will get form the location, next includes
marketing through targeted campaigns, working with other organisation this help of

business trip or a getaway. Responsible management practices in tourism is very important as it
is needed to create a better place to live in and better place for people to visit. By the use of
better management practice the minimization of bad social, economic and other impacts in
tourism can be done. It result in generating more economic benefits for local people. The
different type of management practices are making efficient use of environmental resources that
can result in tourism development while maintaining essential ecological steps and conserving
heritage and diversity. Respecting the socio culture difference of the communities as this result
in engagement with tourists and improve interactions. Ensuring long term economic operation
with location makes benefits of socio economic benefits, resulting in stable employment and
income earning opportunities as well as social services.
