INTRODUCTION
The sustainable tourism development refer to tourism which take entire responsibility
future and recent social, economical and environmental influence, address requirements of
industry, visitors, host communities and environment. This concept of visiting and travelling a
destination like a tourist as well as try to make the positive impact on the society, environment
and economy (Briassoulis and Van der Straaten eds., 2013). Tourism is the fastest growing
industry in a nation which render most of the national income. The study will analyse the
different aspect of sustainable tourism development planning in Philippines along with insights
and benefits and demerits of this process. The study also involve several elements and improving
nations including traits, issues, characteristics as well as future recommendation. It will
understand various approaches of planning and grooming of this sector as well as identify the
requirements of this procedure.

1.1 Stakeholders benefit from planning of tourism developments
Stakeholder is the individual which affect the process or operations of an organisation in
various ways. This is required to manage these bodies of the company for the proper
administration and management. Either an institution, organisation or a nation, every entity work
as a body which contain stakeholder. This is fundamental for managing these people for the
development and improvement of a company. Philippine need to manage the manage their
stakeholder for understanding the activities of the respected case and proper sustainable tourism
development.
There are various types of stakeholder in references of the Philippines's development
planning for improvement of amount of tourism. It consist of local public, government,
developer and investors. Here are the major identified stakeholders:
Developer: There will be more opportunities of development and raise revenues for
developer in the specific region.
Local Public: Spending with the local community and gained developer return in the
specific local region income (Sharpley, 2015). Moreover, The infrastructure of nation
will be improvised more rapidly that the nation can use for the improvement process of

the social and economic betterment of the country. This can result in diversification that
can facilities new prospects of income resources to the nation as well.
Investors: the nation is witnessed fir the foreign investment inflow. Though the case of
presidents have disappointed few people f the nation, it have raised the amount of visitors
and travellers in high amount. This have increased the investment rates of the country and
higher return of those investors led to a better development of whole entity.
Government: The benefit of government can be formed through the tat format which is
their revenues but as the same period, it get lesser after the development of infrastructure
and the improvement of tourism industry. Hence, it can lead to reduced spending of
government, better profits amount as well as development of effective infrastructure.
Thus, the country can get the benefit of the entire activities as the president itself have
motivated the activity of tourism. Thus is how the sustainable tourism development is managed
by an organisation.
1.2 Merits and demerits of public/private sector tourism planning partnerships
Public private partnership refer to the corporation between the private and government
financing for the purpose of improvement of assets which are for public benefit. There are two
major diver for this type of organisation.
Merits Demerits
Initially, this enables the harness by
government, efficiency and expertise
belong to the private organisation in
trade in development and delivery of
the services and facilities (Spenceley
ed., 2012).
The second benefit of PPP that this
remove the loans dan boring of state of
Philippine as the private sector will
render the funds and financial support
to the government for performing
activities.
There are some certain demerits of this
process as well like others. This can
result the entire process in more
complicated negotiations and complex
agreements which can lead to loss the
control on activities and reduce in the
amount of benefits.
Also the risk increases when the
government take the entire
responsibility of the activities which is
undertaken despite of partnership.
