INTRODUCTION
In order to define sustainable tourism development plan in QATAR, first of all it is
necessary to understand which factors are involved in this sustainability. There are different
areas associated with the sustainable development plan. Furthermore, the first most important
part which is stakeholders are considered in this report. Stakeholders are the factors which affect
the tourism development planning process. There are different types of stakeholders exist in a
tourism industry which are discussed in this presentation. Along with this, benefits and
disadvantages of partnership between public and private sectors are also described. The third
main section which explained the importance of tourism development process. There are
different stages involved in the process of development plan which has to be followed
accordingly. Furthermore, the importance of sustainable tourism development is also explained
in this presentation which are related to the different level associated with the tourism operation.
There are different issues and complexities generated in the sustainability of tourism
development which is also described. The main issue regarding this is the interest level of
stakeholders. Fourth section is highlighted the implications of demand and supply with the
ethical and moral issues related to the enclave tourism(Moswete, and Lacey, 2015.).

P 2.1 Features of tourism development planning at different level :
In every tourism development planning, process starts with recognition of local and
regional government. In consultation of private and public sector, tourism desirable with
expanded option to design successful development plan. Clear understanding also required to
accomplish results for Qatar development at different levels. Following are features of tourism
development consist with development planning at different level: International: International enterprises have mission to promote policies with
improvement of economic and social well-being of people in all over the world. Main
aim is to work together and contain solutions for common problems. It is also encourages
and assists to accomplish fair results for all people. When Qatar consist their operations
at international level, they need to access quality education, support culture, etc. National: National organisation consist public and private enterprises in order to charge
operations at different levels such as government, volunteer, etc. When Qatar deals at
national level, they promote hotel, accommodation, natural attraction, etc. Advertisement
also prepare to engage local communities and international enterprises of tourism to
promote their destination.
 Regional: In terms of regional level, more specific characteristics' emphasis in detail
which involves in local communities. Regional strategic plan also related with different
cities towards specific destination. For different attraction, strategic plan related with

cities and tourist need to know appropriate plan for a particular trip. There are different
strategic plans located to increase educational services provided from tourism agency
(Moswete, and Lacey, 2015).
P 2.2 Process and significance of interactive planning system in tourism development process :
Tourism evaluation consist different issues and problems in local community. For
instance, overcrowding destination, traffic congestion, socio-cultural issues, etc. These problems
occurs due to unrestricted tourism policies and planning (Katircioglu, Feridun, and Kilinc,
2014).. There are different destinations considered benefits for tourism development without any
previous planning. Due to lack of interactive planning system, following plan can be
implemented in successful way:
With the help of conventional planning system, it can be suggested that plan must be
oriented with vague from budgets, irrelevant from delivery data. Co-operative and participatory
planning must be considered propose that are directed with incorporation of community's
opinion and desires in the whole process. In order to take better decision, participative process
accomplish in positive way which is more difficult to take efforts and attention from private and
public sector. Specific plan system also consist appropriate research with ordinary concepts with
professional planners. It means that many individuals have full experiences, ideas and
recommendation which can be implement successfully in whole planning process.
On the other hand, it can be said that interactive planning system not exclude any
importance towards appropriate tourism planning. Complete market approach also provides
different attraction, facilities and service to fulfil demand and expectation of customers who
came at Qatar. Furthermore, significance of interactive plan is to make that at all level of the
enterprises involve to make appropriate plan with minimum budget and minimise negative
impact as well. Lack of transparency and corruption increases the host communities
disagreement and dissatisfaction in tourism development. Hence, private developers, national,
local, etc. authorities requires implement services as per customer demand and requirements.
P 2.3 Different methods to measuring tourist impact
With respect to identify tourism impact, there are several ways in front of Qatar. It helps
to gain significant advantages to make high growth in tourism activities. There are different
methods of measuring the impact on tourism. These methods are as follows :

 Economic measures: Within the Qatar, economic growth develop with tourism related
activities. As per government consideration, it can be stated that infrastructure
development activities easily track with different approaches. Hence, it assists to measure
effective result to maintain coordination among government. With the help of STEAM
model economic impact on enterprise measures successfully.
 Environmental measure: It also considered environmental development to make
success in whole country. In this regard, environment also measure to manage changes
for visitors attraction. Tourism development feasibility impact on overall performances
for development of Qatar (Moswete and Lacey, 2015). Qualitative measures has been
taken in which secondary data also gather with accommodation capabilities.
 Social measure: It is also one of the essential element in tourism sector. Hence,

P 4.1 Methods of solving conflicts of interest
Conflicts arise due to dissatisfaction of shareholders interest level. If tourism
development process does not satisfy the interest level of stakeholders than conflicts raised.
Government and other organisations are provided help in resolving the conflicts of interest. In
the respect to resolve the conflicts, there are different methods available such as :
 negotiation : this is the fundamental method to resolve the conflicts. In this method a
direct communication is conducted. Clear cut interaction is useful to resolve the
conflicts. The both parties come close to deal on a fair price that will create a successful
situation for both.
 Mediation : this is a mutually acceptable agreement. There is actively presence of the
both parties in the activities to find out the solution(Berg, Syrjälä, and Laaksonen,
2014).
These both are the well known methods in resolving the conflicts of interest level. Apart from

this, there are several more issues arises in the workplace which affect the tourism development
process. Furthermore, methods are as follows :

If stakeholders of a tourism organisation will be satisfied then no type of conflicts will be arise.

If tourism department wants to satisfy the requirements of stakeholders then it is
necessary to maintain the balance between supply and demand. To meet the demand level,
supply is needed to be consider to boost the economic development. With the balancing of
supply and demand, tourism industry can increase the profitability margin and efficiency of
productivity. Supply and demand are the interrelated factors. These both factors are affected by
each other. Demand and supply curve goes in negative direction, while supply and demand
curve goes in positive direction. Like if demand will be rise then supply will be ride
automatically and if supply will be rise then no necessary that demand will be rise. Through this
maintaining the balance, company can create positive result in term of outcome and generate
high revenue. Demand creates opportunities to extend the supply for increase the growth and
development of tourism industry. There are different factors which affect maintain level of
demand and supply such as environmental issues and economic issues. Government is
providing different types of helps in order to match the growing demand with the efficient
supply of the products through limited resources available in the organisation. Maintain the
ecological balance is very important for every tourism industry to achieve success(Abascal,
Fluker, and Jiang, 2016).

Qatar face different ethical and moral issues that need to deal with tourism activities. Enclave
tourism activities also consist successful plan to gain appropriate results. Environment also need
to focus on restricted activities to develop ethical and moral perspective. In particular areas of
destination, customers attracted. At a particular destination, small and geographical areas have
been considered to satisfy and enjoy entertainment.

interest level of stakeholders may cause of the negative impact(Berg, Syrjälä, and Laaksonen,
2014). It is recommended to involve all the stakeholders while making the plan of tourism
development. By sustainable usage of the limited resources, involve the employees of all the
departments while decision making process, developing competencies and increasing the
capabilities are the sources to increase the positive impacts and overcome the negative impact.
To meet all the needs of stakeholders are difficult and complex so it is an ultimate barrier in the
developing process. It is recommendation to the top level management to consider the stability in
revenue generated opportunities and secure the economical needs. Three main areas to be
considered such as :

important role in tourism industry. The above report described the areas which are associated
with this development process. The main aspects are sociology-economic and business
environment. Stakeholders are also plays a major role in sustainability. It helps in economic
development and growth of a business. Different level of interest of stakeholders may cause of
conflicts in an organization(Berg, Syrjälä, and Laaksonen, 2014). These are the hinders for
sustainable tourism development plan. There are different level of methods included in solving
the conflicts of interest level of stakeholders. Rationale planning in tourism industry is also
explained. Interactive planning also helps the tourism sector in to protect from negative impact
of macro factors. Macro factors such as social, environmental, political and economical. These
all factors are analyzed by pestle analysis model. Methods to resolve the conflicts include
negotiation, meditation and so on. There is also described the current and recent trends
associated with tourism development. Furthermore, there is also given recommendations for the

future development of tourism industry. Conflicts rise when tourism development does not
satisfy the interest level of stakeholders. These are the factors which is affected and which is
influenced as well.
