INTRODUCTION
Sustainable tourism development is a concept which depends upon business entities
operating business under travel and tourism sector and their minimum affect on local and
environmental culture. It is vital for all organisations to comply with governmental regulations in
order to execute business activities in appropriate manner (Ali and J. Frew, 2014). Currently
business of this industry in developing in various countries which produces significant effects
upon social systems, consumption patterns, natural resources and pollution. Enterprise which is
selected for this report is The Tourism Company which was founded in year 1990 by Richard
Denman, Chris Evans and Steve Beioley.
This report covers various topics such as understanding rational for the planning in travel
and tourism sector, various approaches related to tourism planning, requirement for better the
planning for sustainable tourism etc. Apart from this current problems concerned with tourism
development planning and economic, environmental and socio culture impacts are also discussed
under this assignment.

Tourism development planning is explained as formulation to organizing future in order
to achieve particular sustainable aims of specific region (Angelevska-Najdeska and Rakicevik,
2012). The main aim of planning is to increase consumer satisfaction, economic, social and
environmental development of Qatar and many others. In context to this, while maintaining the
tourism planning, it is essential to identify various levels which are concerned with travel
industry. The features at the different stages mention below:
International level: Its main focus is on transportation services of country. Under this, its
aim is on many visitors as well as tour programmes in other countries. Tourism plan also consist
marketing strategies as well as promotion programmes in order to attract large number of visitors
towards Qatar.
National level: Focus of this level is on tourism planning that is related with related
physical structure of nation. It is helpful in develop plans in order to connecting the main routes
of region ans country (Briassoulis and Van Der Straaten, 2013). In this, development of the
investment policies, tourism organizational structure and laws for Qatar are regarded as main
stages related to national level planning.
Regional level: Under this, its main focus on the regional policies, different attractive
locations, marketing strategies, internal transport network and regional level of education.
Sub- regional level: Its focus on conditions of sub- regions of Qatar country. On the
other hand, its main is to attract more consumers, provide the better accommodation services etc.

desirable future design as well as development in specific sector. Interactive planning systems

beneficial or effective for Qatar in various manners like it gives more advantages to various
stakeholders. It is helpful in enhancing communication among stakeholders which will help in

Conflict develops negative effect on productivity and growth of the business. In context
to travel and tourism, it develops negative effect on sustainability of business. Different ways to
resolving the conflict of interest mention below:
Poor management- It is one of the main issue that is faced by the stakeholders. If the
management will be poor then it will develop negative impact on business. In order to resolve
this conflict, there is a need to management to develop effective strategies and manage the
activities accordingly.
Discrimination- It is major problem at workplace. Under this, management needs to
implement the regulations and rules related to discrimination so that each employee at workplace
should be treated in equal manner.
Different strategies should be execute through the travel and tourism company in order to
resolve conflict of interest and it will help in better business sustainability.
Conflict of interest will be get in when various types of stakeholders with the various
objectives. The voluntary firms as well as government to promoting the sustainable tourism
development in order to resolve the conflict of interest in order to executing conflict of the
interest in a successful manner. In addition to this, main conflict have been enhanced between
tour operators, planner, developer, local community, visitors etc. The reason behind occurring
conflict are difference among local community and culture of the visitors. In Qatar, society
followed Islamic religion and the visitors of the foreign country are related to various religions
so there is a difference in beliefs and norms which develop the complex condition (Simão and
Partidário, 2012). In order to this, there is formal procedure of resolving these kinds of disputes
under which the involvement of the third party that aids in making the positive communication
among local community and visitors and also provide the solutions for both the parties.
Various policies of in Qatar that develop some of difficult conditions for visitors during
tax payment, so, this kind of disputed need to be resolved through local government court in
Qatar (Spenceley, 2012). On the other hand, legal authority is helpful in making the proper
conflict solutions with the consideration of all the regulations and rules. Same as, there are
various conditions under which the appropriate interaction, meetings and discussions aids in

Balance of demand and supply is necessary for the sustainable development in Qatar
tourism sector. It is necessary that supply and demand require to be balanced to conquer the
tourism industry. In this, supply is related to reach at customers with the wanted services
with in effective period of time (Angelevska-Najdeska and Rakicevik, 2012). The supply
consists services in infrastructure for an instance accommodation, transportation and also
telecommunication to tourists. In context to this, there are various methods through which
demand and supply can be managed effectively.
The various factors which effect directly to supply as well as demand management in travel
sector for an instance pressure in the finite resources, imposition of limits and many others.
So, an appropriate demands estimation of the planning the strategies aids in managing
supply and demand. These all the factors are helpful in make improvement in planning as

related with safety and health, emotional issues, in appropriate services and many others. Qatar
is developing country and in this country services are not properly developed till now. An
inappropriateness of these kinds of services can be develop all ethical and moral problems
which can impact negatively on sustainable development of the Qatar tourism. On the other
hand, competition on an enclave tourism is enhancing day to day for make improvement in
sustainable development of the Qatar tourism sector. These policies are helpful in resolve all
kinds of problems in a significant way.
There are some of the ethical and moral issues related to the enclave tourism mention
below as above:
No use local product- In enclave tourism, the local business foes not get the
opportunities to provide its products. It develops negative impact on their business and reduce
their sales.
No business opportunity local people- Under this, enclave tourism does not use the
local products so the local business get disadvantage of this and it does not get the opportunities
to local people to expand their business. It prevent the growth of the tourism.
Limited job opportunity local- The Enclave tourism reduce the growth of local people
and it impact on their living standard. Through the less productivity or income level, there is a
limited job opportunities to local people.

After going through the above discussion it has been recommended that comparison has
been made among the emerging country and developing country in context to identify that which
country develop its negative affect in the tourism. Under this emerging country is Qatar and
developing country is Uganda. Below mention are some recommendation through which future
development of respective tourist destination can take place :-
Socio-culture: Uganda is an developing nation that are facing several problem because of
low economy such as. Poverty is of the biggest issues facing by the respective region. So for
reducing poverty and developing economy government of Uganda are taking major steps by
providing employment opportunities (Ekinci, 2014). Along with this, through promoting tourism
employment opportunity will increase in the job role of tour guide, accountant, secretaries, and
many more. Moreover, population of Uganda are selling handicraft as well as traditional attires
for fulfilling their day to day requirement and sustaining livelihood. Most of the attractive
destination within Uganda are Mbalu, Traditional Sites, National Game Park, Boat-riding and so
on all these capture eyes of tourist for visiting such places. On the other hand, in relation to
Qatar, major problem is their natural beauty is getting destroyed so in relation to it country have
to take some major steps for protecting their natural beauty as well as heritage culture. The 3S
i.e. Sun, Sand and Sea are considered as most attraction view of Qatar and play important role in
enhancing tourism.
Economical: Growth rate to tourism within Uganda is reducing at high rate. Thus, legal
bodies of respective nation are required to take some measures steps by which they can enhance
tourism. through which it can increases tourism. On the other hand, in relation to Qatar which is
an emerging nation has gained growth in significant manner because of their rich heritage culture
(Dabphet, Scott and Ruhanen, 2012). Legal bodies of Qatar has introduced several initiatives for
increasing tourism development. It consists granting the free cost visa for around 96 hours to all
the tourists of several nations, free entry of people near about 80 countries through visa-free and
e-visa. Such modifications assist in attracting tourist in positive manner.
CONCLUSION
From given report this has been concluded that sustainable tourism is helpful in develop
the positive affect on environment. Under this, tourism can be included the primary
transportation to local transportation, recreation, general location etc. In this report studied about
