Introduction Tourism environment plays a very important role in tourism industry as it provides positive image to the tourism industry with the preservation and conservation of resources. There are number of factors by which tourism industry affects the environment. Tourism environment defined as the travel destinations where sustainability, flora, fauna and the cultural heritageare themainattractions.Thereisneedtobeenhancetourismenvironmentthatenhance sustainability with that it provides responsible ecotourism which involves cultural integrity of the local people (Fennell,and Cooper, 2020). There is major pressure of enhance tourism in terms of decreasing pollutions, decreasing soil erosion, no loss of natural habitat and many more. The report is being in the context of India. Theaim of this report is to principle of sustainable development, discussion on the stake holders that involved in decision making process in sustainabletourismdestinations,environmentalfactorsthatcontributinginsustainability development of Indiaand micro environment motivating factors that enhances the demand of tourism products. TASK Sustainable tourismis the path of tourism that meets the deeds and wants of the tourists , tourism industry and the community which is hosting without making any compromising the capability of future generations in order to meet our own needs. India are leading its way to make the tourism sustainability through application of different principles (Font and Lynes, 2020). In order to bring sustainability in tourism India implement principles of conservation of ecosystem which stats that the aim of sustainability is to conserve our planetand makethe ecological system durable which not only preserve the aquatic ecosystem but also preserve the territorial ecosystem. The principle of development of society which is implemented by the India states that sustainability of the particular society depends on the presence of the healthy residence of thepeople, employment and the quality education of the people, good health serviceand
balanced and maintained diet. If these components are present in the society then society become more balanced in terms of health of the peopleand the environment. It creates positive attitude ofpeopleinrespecttonatureandotherlivingbeings.Theanotherprinciplewhichis implemented by the country is conservation of biodiversity which states that it is very much essential to protect all the living beings in the world. There is a need to understand the need to conserve natural resources in terms to protect living beings. India conducted national and internationalprograms which conduct theprograms on conservation of biodiversity. The country also involves another principle which said that there is huge need to control population in order to utilize the limited means of resources that is present on theearth. Because of the growth in the populations human needs increases such as requirement of food. Shelter and clothes which is creating pressure on the resources available. This all population management is very crucial in maintaining balance in environment as well as in sustainability.The another principles is people participation and conservation of cultural heritage which not only enhances the tourism in the India but also enhance beauty of the place. Making local people aware about theadvantage and disadvantage of sustainability prepares them to maintain it personally and a joint efforts by each and every individual in the country translate plan to action more easily. Whereas conservation of cultural heritage conserves the customs, traditions, religious places and different cultural aspects of the country(Higgin , 2020). If a country havediverse culture and great contribution of thelocals then the heritage sites can beprotected more easily and this development also enhances the tourism in country. In the development of the tourismstakeholders plays a major rolein it as they evaluate all the social and traditional activities of different countries and then implement plans that enhances sustainability in country. There are multiple stakeholders that involves in the process of decision making such as tourists, entrepreneurs, the government of the country, local communities, residents and the most important the organisations which are providing tourists based goods and services(Nyanjom, Boxall and Slaven, 2018). India is the country having population around 6 lakh and having 185 islands. Thecountry is build with great infrastructure and connectivity which provide quality services to the tourists these service can beimplemented through the evaluation of major aspects by the different stakeholders in the country. Having recession or inflation in the country contribute negatively on maintaining substantiality in tourism.Macro environmental factors refer to the set of conditions that exist in complete sector or region. This not only reflects a country's economic behaviour but also brief about financial literacy and political terms. In contexttoIndia,someofthefactorsplayacrucialroleincontributiontosustainable development of country. India in regards to sustainable development has made appropriate steps such as optimum use of resources and waste minimization. By ranking demographic factor as first includes size,age,gender,occupation and other data. These factors have a major impact on most travelled destination like India(Mihajlovićand Raguz, 2018). Secondly India's socio- cultural factors helps in attracting tourist because of its unique culture. India is considered top tourist spot among all because of its high class security which means lower probability of terror attacks and lower threats from civic war. Political factors have always affected the tourism industry in some way or the other. Being tourist friendly atmosphere, strong political stability, less stringent regulations has made the India a place to travel . The country is considered as pocket friendly place to visit due to minimal cost of living that an average or middle class man
think of. Travelling to places like India is now a concern of expressing a social class. Due to prevailing of different culture India has now become a tourist spot. With this people have become aware existence of no of cultures which has been the most attracting feature to make a tourist visit the same country again. Being upgraded air transportation system of India, airports have become advanced and air tickets are available at affordable prices without getting into any complex procedure. Legal formalities for application of visa have now become accessible through everywhere by everyone and also not so lengthy procedure. Sustainable development means meeting the needs of present without affecting the resources of future. In context to India, sustainable development aims to ensure that no one lefts behind in benefiting from development efforts. By this the country has also eradicated the poverty to an extent. India has overcome the challengesofsustainabledevelopmentsuchasshortageofdrinking water,poverty,inequality ,deforestation which is considered as a major obstacle in sustainable development of any country(Kamassi, Abd Manaf and Omar 2020). By using some strategies like reduce,reuse and recycle,promoting environmental education and resource utilization ,the usage and wastage of resources are minimized to a lower level which is considered as a big achievement for any country. Micro environmental factorsare those that affect the ability of country to serve its tourist. Certain other factors such as taste and cost of complimentary goods affect the supply of tourist products in any any country. This includes attitude of country's people towards the tourist,its beauty,population,income level ,price level,different languages and fare of hotel. In context to India, there are factors that affect supply of tourism products in country such as geographical location,technology and service providers. The country being not a harsh area to travel have accessible markets that provides easy supply of tourism products at reasonable prices . The more service providers generally lead to better supply of tourism products and more competitive prices of different tourism services. India also comprises of markets that provide unique gadgets , that helps the tourist in providing products as and when needed by them. High availability of services providers in India who are acting as travel agents helps in supplying every tourist a service they required.India beingconsideredastoptravelledspot,hasfocussed on relaxation,family togetherness,shopping and social interaction of its tourist in order to increase their motivation for travelling the same spot again. India also comprised of better infrastructure facilities such as top
quality hotels,restaurants,public utilities(McDonald and Guechtouli, 2019.). India applies two way motivation when it comes to supplying of tourist product that is intrinsic motivation and extrinsicmotivation.Asperintrinsicmotivation,countrydrivesthefocusonproviding intangible rewards to its tourist such as fun,and other emotional needs. India makes sure that its image is not ruined by other competitive tourist spot by providing value or belief to each tourist as needed(Li, Li, and Liu, 2021). As per extrinsic motivation,the country makes sure that every middle class person can afford the travelling expenditures. the factor that motivates the tourist to travel is the knowledge of its custom. India is considered as place to visit because of its most exciting feature such as hosting of historical and cultural events. The country is also considered as best place to travel for pilgrims. CONCLUSION From the content discussed above , India is been considered as most favourite destination to travel by the tourist. Both micro and macro environmental factors affect the operations of tourism industry of any country ,here India. The overview from above report provides that travelling a place would require prior considerations. The report also suggested that motive behind travelling to country like India is to relax and rest and explore the unique places. The research also proofed that it would be requiring deep understanding of tourist behaviour. It has outlined the nature and demand of tourist, its attitude etc. when motivation type is concerned in context to tourism they were extrinsic and intrinsic. The contribution of macro economic factors in sustainable development has a major impact on tourist industry as per the report mentioned above. The involvement of stakeholders as suppliers in foreign exchange market has solved the issue of conversion of one currency to other which is considered as major drawback by almost every country.
