2 SYSTEM ANALYSIS AND DESIGN Introduction The report is prepared for Sunshine motors for the development of the new information system for automation of the current manual process of the business. The manual system of the company should be automated for the reduction of the errors of the current business and maintain the records of the mechanics, cars and the other facilities provided by the business. The information system is developed for management of the changes of the current business process and help the current business for the growth of the organization. For the development of the information system there is a need to gather the requirement and analyze the needs of the business for aligning the information system according to the needs. 1. Recommended System Acquisition Strategy For the development of the sunshine motors information system the stakeholders should be included and interviews must be arranged with the stakeholders for gathering the requirement of the information system. An analysis should be made on the functional and the non-functional requirement of the organization for the development of the information system. Meetings should be arranged with the stakeholders for and a system development lifecycle model should be applied for starting the development of the information system. 1.1. System Acquisition Weighted Alternative Matrix The system acquisition matrix has been applied as a decision making tool for the evaluation of the alternatives and identification of the criteria for the development of the information system.
