ASSESSMENT CONDITIONS AND GUIDELINES
Students to submit the completed project activities to the teacher for marking and feedback at the
end of 2 weeks from the date the assignment was handed out to the students.
Always keep a copy or record of your assignment. Loss or misplacement of your assignment will not
be accepted as an excuse for non-submission. Attach an Assessment Cover Sheet with your
submission.
This is ungraded competency based assessment (AC/NC).
Student must be competent in each task outlined in the assessment.
There will be no resubmit; teacher guidance is given during the unit.
Please refer to the Student assessment Guide (SAG) and Course Guidelines for
further information and instructions regarding assessment conditions and
requirements.
This is an “Open Book” assessment event.
o You may consult reference material to complete this assessment.
Plagiarism or copying from another person is a breach of TAFE policy and an
infringement of the Copyright Act which will result in disciplinary action and a
FAIL being awarded for the unit.
o Please submit YOUR OWN INDIVIDUAL and ORIGINAL work.
REASONABLE ADJUSTMENT
If you have a permanent or temporary condition that may hinder you from successfully
completing the assessment task(s), you should immediately talk to your teacher aboutreasonable adjustment.
This is the adjustment of the way that you are assessed to take into account your
condition and may include providing a support person, allowing additional time to
complete tasks or the modification of equipment and resources. Reasonable
adjustment will be determined on an individual needs basis however; the assessment
criteria cannot be altered.

This is a Competency-Based Ungraded Unit.
To achieve overall competency for this unit you must complete all tasks listed in
Event 1 (the assignment)
The assessment event will be reported to you as either; Completed or Not
Completed
To achieve an overall Competent (AC) result for this unit, you must achieve a
“Completed” result for the above assessment event otherwise; your final result will be
reported to you and recorded as Not Yet Competent (NC)
