Research methodology is regarded as one of the significant aspect of research in which
such effective processes are used in order to develop the research in appropriate manner. This
chapter is associated with gathering such applications in which whole the research can be
executed appropriately.
Research Approach
Research approach is defined as such processes which are used within research in order
to gather information in systematic manner. Research approach is classified into two major
aspects such as deductive and inductive approach (Babii, 2020). Both of these approaches are
effectively helping in examination of accumulated data in such a way that research objectives
can be attained. Under this investigation deductive research approach is used so that to develop
research in quantitative manner and to cover up statistical data accurately. With the help of this
research approach practical solution can be exerted within research project and numerical
information can be gathered.
Research Strategy
Research strategy is defined as such specific methodology which is helpful in gathering
reliable and appropriate data. There are different research strategy such as grounded theory,
archival theory and many more (Al Kilani, 2016). Under current investigation survey method is
used so that to develop research in appropriate manner and at the same time attain research
objectives as well. With the help of this research strategy numeric data can be collected and for
collecting data questionnaire method is used in which close-ended questions.

I am very thankful that I got this opportunity to execute the current research on the topic
of talent management. This is going to help me in developing the level of situations in which
future uncertainties for the business can be dealt. In the present research I have managed to carry
out research with the help of questionnaire. Basically, I have focused over assembling numerical

gathered which holds higher relevancy. I have considered that with the help of secondary sources
second hand information is gathered using books, journals and various articles. The secondary
sources have assisted in filling the gap within existed published sources in which information can
be acquired in appropriate manner. I have also collected first hand information by interacting
directly with respondents on the topic of talent management. I have also faced various challenges
while conducting the current research such as time management and resource management. This
way by using Gantt chart these challenges are mitigated in effective manner.
P7 Consider alternative research methodologies and lessons learnt in view of the outcomes.
This research is based on quantitative data but if the researcher do qualitative research on
this topic in future then they will get in-depth knowledge of the topic. They will also get to
know the emotionally perception of the employee on the topic. Further research also help them to
know the pros and cons that are there in this topic. It will also help them to fill the gap and
develop their existing skills and knowledge.

attracting and retaining best candidate. With the help of line manger they are attracting and
selecting the right people for the right job as line manger better know the requirement and ability
that is needed by an employee to perform a particular task. They also know that what will be the
motivational factor of a particular employee so that they can retain them. The cost to hiring is
reduced in ASOS because the leader better know the job responsibility they want and prepare
interview on that basis. This strategy also help them to save their time and utilize it in
production. They also help in giving proper training to those only who actually needed it. It has
also been seen that they are setting good example for their competitor in attracting and retaining
of the peers. With these talented people they are gaining competitive advantage and increasing
their image of brand. ASOS works toward developing a best talent management system so that
they can contribute in the success of the organisation. The company is using good approaches for
their talent management system.
RECOMMENDATION
In the above research researcher would like to recommend that ASOS should use line
manager in those jobs which require technical analysis of the employee because the task perform

by line manger is crucial so involving in all the interview is not possible. They should also
cooperative with other line manger when in requires. ASOS should also use more innovative and
attractive strategy to hire and retain employee. They should use social media platform like
Indeed , LinkedIn in more attractive way. Their is a need for ASOS to do investment in
enhancing the employees as a brand. This will help in more unique way in talent acquisition.
They should also use smart advertising activity for the job which requires only those competitive
people which perform task in more easy way. Company should also consider career development
as a excellent strategy and give more importance on it. They need to give priority to the result
generated by the HR and not think that what they think is best. Giving priority help the
organization to solve the problem of miscommunication and built a good path for
communication. Need to adopt approaches like move up, over and out for the employees to
enhance productivity.
