An effective talent management team assists business in identifying the skill gaps and the capital required by organization which are prerequisites in achieving business goal. As per study from McKinsey there are various reasons a talent management framework is required in organization and some of which are Attracting the best available talent, effectively engaging, and motivating the employees, Identifying the skill gaps, Boost employee performance, retaining the most talented employees and drive organizational performance. The talent management framework is considered best if the same is linked with organizational values. Below given are some of the basic attributes of an effective talent management framework: The key driver of the framework must be organizational value It should push to establish the capabilities that are required to build a culture prerequisite to build talent framework It should be based and updated based on data and advanced analytics. It should define the process of allocating the talent to different projects in organization based on skillset required in different projects.
