INTRODUCTION
Talent management is the activity in which organisation give focus on their talented
employees so that they can retain in organisation. It is the activity that perform by leader and
manager of the organisation (AKEFIYAN and RASHIDI, 2017). Human resources are the main
components of organisation success, so that's why they should be consider retaining of talent
management in the organisation. In this context, Sainsbury's is undertaken for considering talent
management in the organisation. Sainsbury's is the UK based company i.e. a retailer store that
provides a huge variety of goods and services. This report covers aims and objectives of
organisation that gives direction to the employees. It also covers management plan with Gantt
chart. It covers research through various sources that are discussed in this report.

P1) Aims and objectives of chosen scenario:
Overview of the research: This report gives brief knowledge of talent management that
why it important for success and growth of organisation. For this respect, Sainsbury's is
undertaken to identify and analyse the requirements of talent management in the organisation.
This report conducts robust research so that it can analyse the impact of talent management on
organisation. It also covers the data collection methods with interpretation that gives brief idea of
this concept (Cerdin and et. al., 2018). To manage talent in organisation firstly Sainsbury's needs
to know their aims and objectives that gives clear directions and guidance.
Aims: “ To hold talented and skilful employees in the organisation so that they can
achieve the organisational objectives and targets.” A case study on Sainsbury's.
Objectives: Vital objectives are given below:
To awakening organisation for talent management concept for sustainable growth of the
business.
To increase the awareness of importance of talent management in organisation.
To increase productivity and profitability of employees with the help of talent
management.
To identify and analyse important strategies of talent management that make the process
effective.

Research Questions:
What is the concept of talent management in organisation.
What is importance of talent management in the organisation in respect of hold talented
or high quality employees.
What are important application of talent management that applicable in organisation.
What are the strategies that is helpful in retaining talent management in the organisation.
P2) Evaluate project management plan
Project is the study that gives deep knowledge of assigned topic or concept. For this
organisation needs to make proper project management plan that reduce ambiguity in the
decisions (Humaid, 2018). It is the important concept in the organisation that they should make
effective project management plan that helps to increase efficiency in productivity of employees.
In this respect, some important components are mentioned below:
Time: It is the most important element or component in which organisation need to
assign time for allocated projects. Time is main constraint that help to do task effectively. If
Sainsbury's didn't assign timing that employees are not give much focus on that project. So that's
why Sainsbury's assign 4 months for completion of this project. They bifurcated time according
to research as it give 1 month for primary research whereas they give time 3 months for
secondary research.
Cost: It is very important for Sainsbury's that they should consider cost in the project so
that employees spend funds accordingly. It saves unnecessary expenditure in the organisation as
it allocated budgets to each and every duty in the organisation so that they can attain goals and
objectives effectively (Keerthi and Kumar). It is important to know the exact and accurate
position of financial position of Sainsbury's. For this project Sainsbury's allocated budget i.e.
£800 for talent management.
Quality: Vital component for project management is that it should be have some quality
so that employees and any other person can easily understand talent management. The aims and
objective of Sainsbury's can only attain through the quality in project management plan because
it increase productivity.
Scope: It refers to the applicability of talent management in various place in the
organisation. Talent management is applicable in each and every type of organisation because
everyone requires talented workforce so that they can achieve their targeted goals. This research
