Introduction
The case study is about the people who are recently gone through a breakup, as for how the

breakup affected the behavior of people on social media sites across the Netherlands, UAE,

UK, Poland. There are many things which have been found out, that there are gaps between

the breakup and the announcement on Facebook. This has been found in some words used by

men and women on their post are detox, healing, binge-watching etc, but at a different time.

The researchers of Facebook said that people get a new experience when they purchase new

things of their favorite brand. The marketers post their advertisement which helps the people

with broken hearts. The focus of the assignment is how Facebook helps people to overcome

break-up.

2.
Utilitarianism Theory
The utilitarianism is the ethical theory which is the best action is one that maximizes the

utility. This is the term of the well-being of sentient entities. The founder of utilitarianism,

Jeremy Bentham defined utility as this is the sum of all pleasure which is the outcome of any

of action as this minus the suffering of one who is involved in the action. The utilitarianism is

the version of consequentialism is one which defines the consequences of the action which is

standard of wrong and right (
Mulgan, 2014). There are many forms of consequentialism
which are altruism and egoism means the interest of being equal. The Utilitarianism

proponents disagree on the number of points like whether the action has been chosen is based

on results or agents must confirm the rules for maximizing the utility. The theory has been

found in hedonists Epicurus and Aristippus which view the happiness, the tradition of this

began with Bentham and included John Stuart Mill, R.M. Hare, and Peter Singer.

In the case study, the theory of utilitarianism is used as this has been noted by researchers that

people gone through a breakup to update their status and post on social media sites, especially

on Facebook. The researchers have found that gaining the new experience after a breakup by

buying new things from the sites of Facebook. The people go from breakup buys the new

products from the advertising shown on Facebook help them to gain new experience and also

help in coming out of such a situation.

The advertisement shown by brands encourages the clients for gaining the new experiences

such as the offers provided by brands and coupon such as travel and discount coupons are

best for helping the people at a hard time.

Deontology Theory
The deontology theory is a normative theory which the morality of action must be based on

the action which is right or wrong under the rules instead which is based on consequences of

action. This theory is most of the time described as an obligation which is based on ethics as

rules bind the individual with their duty. The ethics of deontological is contrasted to

consequentialism, pragmatic ethics and virtue ethics. The actions are more important than of

consequences in deontology theory (
Tenenbaum, 2017). The theory of deontology is first
used for describing the current and particular definition given by C.D. Broad in his book, the

five types of ethical theory which was published in the year 1930. The system of

deontological ethics is the moral obligation which can arise from the internal and external

sources such as a set of rules which is inherent from the universe, is the set of cultural values

or religious laws.

According to the case study, the theory is related as people post their feelings on Facebook

whose advantage is taken by the Facebook to encourage their business. The people gone

through breakup must know the circumstances of posting the update of their life on social

media. People must know what is wrong and what is right, should these need to be posted on

social media. The ethics of Facebook are not wrong as they are helping the individual to

come out from a hard time of their life.

4.
Virtue Theory
The virtue ethics is a normative theory which emphasizes the virtue of character and mind.

This theory elaborates about the nature, definition of virtue and some more problems which is

related to virtue. The virtue is the character trait such as settled sentiment and habitual action

which specifics that virtue is a positive trait which makes the possessor the good human

being (
Bell, et. al., 2017). The virtue can be honesty which is not only a tendency of what to
do what is honest, it is generally specified as a moral valuable trait of character. The virtue is

concerned with different actions such as emotions and emotional reactions, values, choices,

attitude, desires, expectations, perception and sensibilities. The virtue can be possessed by the

by the person with certain complex mindset.

According to the case study, as people post their relationship status on social media,

especially on Facebook which can't be said as wrong as this is the human behavior. The

sentiments of the individual are linked with the post as this shows their character. The one

thing whichhas been found that there isa little gap between breakup and announcement on the

Facebook from the post of the individual (
Austin, 2017). This has been noted that there are
many words which are used by men in their post before they admit themselves as single such

as detox, healing, suffering etc. The same words are used by women in their post is on the

same day as the announcement of a breakup. The behavior of women and men are different

from their breakup and about their feeling. But the same feelings are shown at different times

by both of them as women are very emotional and show their feelings at the same time.

Similar to women boys are also emotional but they feel the same when they had lost it totally.

This has been found that during two weeks before and two weeks after of break-up

announcement, it has been explained to the users that 40 percent of invitation is accepted to

the event more than of 60 days before and after of their announcement of break up on

Facebook.

5.
Contract Theory
The contract theory is the research and analyses about how the organization and people

develop the legal agreements in the uncertain conditions which are unknown factors and

asymmetric information. This theory applies to both the multi-party negotiation among the

agents and principals and contracts which are created by the single organization and person

for specifying the details of the multi-party agreement such as contracts of the employee. The

theory of the contract specifies the requirement and responsibilities of both the parties so that

there can't be a single point of misunderstanding (
Fried, 2015). There are many ideas which
can't be achieved as moral hazard is model in this theory, as the risk of one party to the

transactions which is not acting in good faith. This theory is mainly the application of game

theory which is the research of negotiation model in mathematics, corporation, and conflict

among organizations, individuals and governments. The questions of central in the theory of

contract involve why the individuals which make the decision and how that decision can be

made by the one which can affect others.

The moral hazard in contract includes the risk of disadvantage for the party with less

information. There are other models in contract theory which are the adverse selection in a

principal party which is not fully informed by the factors of agent's risk and signaling; in

which the agents reliably conveys the information about themselves to principles such as

qualification of job applicant which matches the requirements of hirer's list.

According to the case study, as the Facebook try to overcome their customers from their

breakup, which is not their duty, this is an agreement (
Koszegi, 2014). The organization

makes the agreement for keeping their employees and customers happy. The Facebook had

made the legal agreement with the different organization, among their employees to improve

the uncertain conditions. The people who suffer from breakup recently and post their

announcement on Facebook, then the Facebook helps them to overcome from this as they

provide offers and discounts on the favorite brand of the individual which give the new

experience to one.
