foundation, the founder of this organization was Abdul Sattar Edhi(late). He started off this organization
in 1951 from Karachi as a dispensary and then he built his first welfare center in 1957 and then Edhi
trust. It has grown to 300 centers around Pakistan and just in Karachi it has 8 running hospitals. It has 6
zonal offices and every zonal office is under the director of that office. Then there’re deputy directors
and managers who rules the zonal offices and these zonal offices are links to those 300 centers in
Pakistan. Every center has its own center head and then there are several teams and committees who
have given certain task according to the need and demand of society.
Organizational Functions:

as I have searched or believe that there’s a strong bond between front and back end functions. In fact
they can’t work without mutual collaboration. Back end functions help and support and manage all the
implementation and work environment, where people work together so they make sure that they’re
providing not good but best environment to the people. They help Front end functions to execute
smoothly. For example if we talk about Marketing and Finance department, Marketing is a front end
function and finance is back end function. Now if there’s a vacancy available or there’s a new product to

advert or marketing campaign and then they’ll launch it but they will need fund or marketing budget to

Tows is not quite the same as SWOT and it is represents Threats, Opportunities, Weaknesses, and
qualities. Essentially it help an organization to perceive how it can accept advantages of open doors,

is 36.4 billion USD and it is the 7th largest company in USA. It means it has gotten enough goodwill. With
the help of its goodwill if there’s an opportunity outside like market shares of any other business or
anything like that, it can easily buy those shares. It can easily avail the opportunity. If we talk about
again internal strength of EY, it has grown to four regions, so if for example in USA as COVID19 has badly
captured its economy and due to the treat in USA, EY can easily make profit from the other regions
instead of USA and it won’t affect their business profit. If EY has to hire trained staff or experienced

employees, they can easily run a survey and hire staff from outside as they can bear the expense and
salary of skilled people. Now if we talk about this unforeseen situation COVID19, as it has badly affected
the global world and due to this offices are closed and businesses aren’t operating. And in this situation
if EY doesn’t work it would lose its goodwill and the client might go for other company. Now both treats
are there, internal and external. So if they ask their employees to work from home and not come to
office. In this situation they will protect their employees as well as they will keep up the work and they
will be protected from the external treat as well.
