Task 2.1
In the Archifarm enterprise, the stakeholders, drivers of both internal and external
changes identify the assessments and goals through the SWOT analysis process. This analysis
helps in modelling the goals of the livestock farm. The goals are a basic requirement for
determining the requirements needed in the engineering process (Jonkers, Proper, Lankhorst,
Quartel, and Iacob, 2011, 298). For instance, the use of automating machines to dispense
costomized amounts of feeds to every individual animal will depend on the goals of the farm.
In this case, stakeholders such as infrastructure architects and suppliers for the feeds have to
be considered for the entire process to be successful. It will help determine the contribution of
every stakeholder and how conflicts can be solved in the long run hence harmonizing all the
aspects that will lead to the ultimate realization of the goals.
For instance, in the Archifarm investment, stakeholders include the suppliers of the
feeds to each site, ICT architects who manage the data software, distributors, retailers and
managers. The main concerns for these parties in the farm is to provide the appropriate
strategies and motivation that will result to satisfaction for every individual member.
Therefore, the various stakeholders will come together and design the manner in which they
will work together.
The suppliers for the feeds will determine the mode of delivery, the amounts that they
will be delivering and at what intervals as well as the mode and duration of payments. The
distributors on the other hand will know when to collect the milk, the amount to be collected
and the prices at which they will be working. The management in this case will seek to ensure
that everything is running smoothly and that the interests of the various stakeholders are
taken care of.

After everything has been put into consideration, an assessment will be done on the
performance of each stakeholder and the outcome will indicate whether every individual is
satisfied. In case of dissatisfaction, the conflict will be resolved for the better. Therefore, a
fair consideration for each stakeholder and change driver will lead to the achievement of the
objectives of the farm (Mayer and Feltus, 2017, 106). The following diagram is an example
of a stakeholder viewpoint.

Task 2.2
The major business functions of Archfarm are the purchase of feeds, animal
healthcare, maintenance and milk production. The major stakeholders of the process are the
suppliers, employees, distributors and contractors (Band, Engelsman, Feltus, Paredes, and
Diligens, 2015, 110).
To initiate the supply process, the management signs a contract with the suppliers to
make an agreement to the mode and quantities to be supplied. The farm workers will receive
the feeds and deliver them to the animals according to their specific requirements. In doing
this, the business will have managed to carry out its duty of placing orders and receiving the
supplies.
The production process is then done by the robotic milking machines and the milk
supplied to the distributors. The production function will entail a number of processes such as
feeding of the animals, cleaning the animal sheds, milking and monitoring the health status of
the animals. The accomplishment of all these processes will ensure an ultimate achievement
of the function.
The management receives payment from the distributors and retailers and in turn, they
pay the suppliers and employees. In addition to that, the management will hire contractors for
the purpose of maintenance in the sites. These may include engineers, plumbers, architects,
mechanics electricians and software engineers. Veterinarians will also be required to do
regular assessments and treatment of the livestock.
To meet integrity standards and social values, the management will do due diligence
in environmental conservation through proper disposal of wastes as well as the utilization of
animal waste in making organic manure for further societal benefits (Band, Engelsman,
Feltus, Paredes, and Diligens, 2015, 298).
