INTRODUCTION
Effective team working means about the collaborative efforts of a group to accomplish
common goal or to finishing task within the most effective and efficient way (Petkova, Domingo
and Lamm., 2021). The concept is seen within the greater framework of specific team which
group of interdependent individual who work together towards a common goals. Good teamwork
means a synergetic way of working with each person committed and working towards a goals. In
this report, it reflect the case study of University of Wales Trinity Saint David is very diverse in
terms of gender, demographics, age, background, and experience. In this, the situation arise that
during presentation student faces challenges as of culture diversified.
MAIN BODY.
How student can develop an effective team.
An effective team is having capacity of better team approach as they has to accomplish the
goals or objectives administrated through an authorised where they better personal or the
organisation. It depend upon team members who are potential and having better time
management along with better vision of life. They must share their vision, measure goals
challenges and opportunities through which proper planning or strategies included (Mostafapour
and Hurst., 2020). As the situation in University of Wales Trinity faces challenges or issues at
the time of presentation where better culture diversified.
By making effective team by using Model of Tuckman of team development that works on
within effective workplace:
Tuckman Team development: It is essential as very workplace is very essential for development
and success of enterprise because working team not only ensure completion of all business in
specific period of time. So, it is very important for University of Wales Trinity as they faces to
better perform to effective satisfy the target customer. For developing team there is a model
which is known as Tuckman model of team development which uses by Students where they can
easily reform a better team formation by following these important steps are:
Forming: This is the first stage, in which all team member are come together and interact
with each other. All member remembered that they are depended on leaders for better
direction. Since this roles and responsibilities where to effectively perform by every team

member with remain are unclear. In this, University of Wales Trinity leader can bring all
team member and make their induction practice to get to know each other very well.
Storming: In this all team member do hard work to better develop maintained effective
relationship with others. In this all member of team are clear about the main objective of
working together (Koolwijk, van Oel and Gaviria Moreno, 2020). This is very important
for all member to focus more set objectives so team can accomplish the same. Further in
this, University of Wales trinity can make more vulnerable way to better execute
relationship with students. This can help to better understand each other behaviour and
emotions.
Norming: According to this stage, where in this team member to undertaken the decision
are must conducted through discussion. Through with this, team can reform their own
styles and process where they could attain the positive way of outcomes. For University
of Wales and Trinity can adopt better leadership styles such as Situational Leadership
where this style can help to leader to mitigate the risk factor effectively.
Performing: This is fourth stage, in this team where members are well aware and clear
about their opinion or objectives is been clear effectively. There is main focus of all team
member overreaching of gaols and all decision are undertaken on effective criteria with
better set by leaders (Waltz, 2020). As this stage would help to University of Wales and
Trinity student can perform in high performance would drive within effective manner.
Adjourning: This is a fifth of Tuckman Model consist breakup of the group. After
fulfilment with having purpose with every individual can move to do new things
effectively. Through this, University of Wales and Trinity student can segregate their
group within the better fulfilment of individual to do new things.
There are various elements which makes an effective as compare to ineffective teams as
given below:
Communication: It is known one of the most effective element in an administration. As
the proper communication where among all team members to ensure execution of all
activities in time period. In this it remove the confusion and make all people with aware
about their important roles and responsibilities. As the communication brings
cooperation and make a team an effective one. As the proper communication should be

Size of team: There are number of individual in team where it has another factor which
better determines its effectiveness. It is observed that having small good coordination as
compare within large team due to ease communication among all team member. In

number of member in team the work would divided as per the individual competency

team work, it creates more opportunities to bring new behaviour and process that students

Teamwork helps solve problem: There is association within the group to solve issues in
complex situation. Similarly, University of Wales and Trinity students can also face
issues like not having coordination between student team member, lack of
communication, resources and others (Mahmood, Mohammed and Gilbert, 2021). To
mitigate all these issues team work come together and create strategies to mitigate the
issues.
It Supportive: As teamwork creates a system that deadlines are met by providing quality
of work. It is better supportive when one team member falls and another team member is
pick up pieces. In this University of Wales and Trinity can make help to student’s team

successful manner by making proper strategic plan or get guidance through leader.
Team work build morale: The work is valued is to better contribute to something that
provide to produce the results. By providing the ideas can generate better productivity.
By working together member of team which feels strong sense of belonging with deep
commitment towards each other common goals. In perspective of University of Wales
and Trinity team work increase to build morale where they offer rewards and motivation
learnings that increase the efficiency to generate positive outcomes.
Evaluation:
According to above team effectiveness factors which helps to get team impact towards succeed
to attain more outcomes accomplished. Further it allows to make more development in which
University of Wales and Trinity student can provide their presentation by coordination through
team effectiveness.
Barriers of Effective teamwork.
There are some barriers in making of effective team work in perspective of University of Wales
and Trinity where they get to work individual by focusing on efforts of individual to faces
challenges:
Individual shrinking their duties: Since team members are sharing their responsibility
for generating outcomes, some of individual might need to attain additional work through
not contributing the efforts. This could raise failure of team to establish clear norms of
accountability for individual to measure contributing efforts.
Lack of trust: Through effective collaboration requires to team member to increase
confidence that every share a set of goals. The lack of trust can also leads
miscommunication and mis-understanding which can undermine the group efforts.
Lack of team skills: When team is having not collaboration skills which is needed to
