Data Modelling1 Experience: Student management system is referred as student information system. The Torrens UniversityAustralia(TUA)ishavinginterestindevelopinganewstudentrecord management system. A database will be needed for the system for the management of enrolled students, coursed that are enrolled by the students (Roberts et al., 2019). In addition, the system will be also needed for managing the staffs who will be facilitated in a particular course. The data and information for the students who are enrolled, information about allocated courses and information about the allocated staffs will be stored in the database. The data and information will also be managed from the database such as all the data and information related to the staffs and students can be deleted, updated or new information can also be added into the database. The university is having a very strong database information system (Gilson, Carter & Biggs, 2017). It is having a signalled, the intension is to seeking inputsfromthestudentsinsuchawaylikeconsultingmanner.Thestudentrecord management system will also allow the staffs in adding, deleting and updating record and information of staffs and students who are allocated to courses and course. The staffs of the university will be having the ability to see the lists of the students who have enrolled in the specific courses which is facilitated by a learning facilitator. Thissystemisentirelycomputerbased.Nowadaysitbecomessopopularin educational sector. This student information system is used for maintaining the data of the students that are also being updated them, analysed them and also used for creating the reports. By using this one can store the data about the students that should be stored, retrieved, monitored and analysed (Tang et al., 2017). This system provides the features which helps in education system. This is used in every educational organization. This software systemmanaged the whole enrollment process of students making the data and information error free, systematic, fast and also demanded. This software is difficult to handle
2Data Modelling the affairs that are related to the students. It is performed efficiently. This is a management software which has the architecture for managing the data of the students from the database and automatingthe functions about the institution. The largest chunk of data of student’s enrollment, online payments, attendance management, and reporting management has managed. The task of admins, teachers, staffs, and others through a multi-functional platform has been managed by the software system. It maintains the data of multiple students, facilities, stakeholders and others. This software system is maintained manually (Banjer & Zagami, 2016). This system is not only used by the schools but also the higher organizationlikeuniversities. Ratherplanning the course curriculum or wasting the time it helps in progressing the education, course etc. On the basis of the scenario I have identified some major data objects as well as I have created some attributes. The data objects and attributes has been defined as columns in the spreadsheet. According to the requirement, I have created multiple versions of the spreadsheet. In the version 1, I have added all the database objects that are possible as well as the possible attributes. For that I have created 30 rows of data. The attributes are Name, Student id, DOB, Address Postcode, Course enrolled, mobile no, study period, NO. Of subjects enrolled, on campus/ online, Trimester and time table. In the version 2 of the spreadsheet, two records have been updated in the 30thand 31strows. The changes have been highlighted and 5 rows of data have also been added in version 2. In the version 3, two new attributes have been added such as Subject Coordinator and Campus. The headings are highlighted with color. Finally, in the version 4, 5 attributes have been removed and 5 rows of data are added. For applying for the registration for the educational courses the students get notified in proper time by the email and the contact numbers. It is the higher educational software that
3Data Modelling can run smoothly. It gives assurance for the communication that takes place between the members that are prime in education organization. The information that is stored in private and secure. The student information systemhelped in online payments .This gives a hassle free situation and an error free transaction (Vinichenko et al., 2016). This is very secure process. The notification is done through the contact numbers and the email and sms. This system is also maintained the attendance records of the students in efficient manner. It is designed uniquely as well the tools can be used for enabling the tracking easily. The reports of the students that is generated by the academic institution is also managed by this software system. The institution such as universities, schools and colleges can be managed through the communication that also can be managed by the students’ information system. This is done in efficient manner (Misar et al., 2018).This system is also used in creating a report card of the students. This software automatically calculate the grade of the students that is depend on the weight, point system, standards and calculate the average. In short it can be said that this computerized system that helps the organization for managing the data about the students that are stored in the database in well manner. It has different names by which it is known that are student ERP system, school database system and more. Installing the software system one can access the data that are stored in database. There are several benefits of \the student management system (Pardo et al., 2018).The structure of the student’s information system provides the paperwork that is minimal for using. It decreases the method of enrollment process of students this is achieved the productivity. The huge data about the students can be generated systematically in efficient manner .The progress of the students also can be tracked by using the various analytical tools and there is dashboard which is available .The health records of the students that is maintained the information. This is the system which is cloud based can be used for
