Discount helped to increase productivity and sales of companybut reduces the profit margin of company. Researcher collect the various information with thehelp of primary data collection. That has effective and valuable methods for collecting views andideas of customers towards understand about the discount. The primary data collection includedby the age, education, gender and average spending. There has various ways that has help tomanager of supermarket to achieve goals and objectives such as price strategies, distance,location, quality and quantity of product etc. the B&M and home bargains supermarket has offersdiscount to their customers to attract towards them and also competing with the big supermarketsuch as the Tesco, Morrisons, ASDA etc. Survey has help for identifying the views of theirselected customers like in that they select the 20 respondents for conducting their research andcollect views and ideas of customers by asking questions which has related to the importance ofdiscount and the reason for select supermarket for shopping. Research has also covered by thesecondary data by internet company websites and journals. After all process of identifying andcollecting data, it also recommended to the supermarket about the adopting ways and techniquesfor more attracting customers.

There are three types of discountsuch as trade, quantity and cash discount. Trade discount is deduction from the price of goodsold that is called as the trade discount. Quantity discount is allow to the seller to buyer amountwhich is crossing minimum from the target sales which is called as the quantitate discount. Otherhand the cash discount is the nominal discount in that seller is deduct amount from the face valueof product and services (Roller and Lavrakas, 2015). With the help of cash, trade and quantitydiscount home bargains supermarket are able to attract customers. This is very effective andvaluable technique for increase sales of product and services. At the another way it is help insales promotion by offer point of purchase items. The main aim is to retain and attract customerswith the help of discount and cash deduction. The research will be shows the importance andvarious types of discount to attract customers. The research will present by the various ways ofdiscount for increasing sales of product and services. Discount is required for the home bargainssupermarket but not for the big supermarket. In this research, researcher take care of the ethical considerations towardsthe customers and respondents. Sampling The sampling is the process of selecting units from the population of interest so that bystudying the sample by fairly generalised. It is defined as the group of peoples which researcherselect from their further research and also from the knowing the views and answers a largepopulations. This sampling can be divided into the various parts. It have two types which randomsampling and probabilistic sampling. In that research, researcher select the random sampling for2
