The learners:
It is necessary to take certain preventive steps not only to deter, but also to encourage
safety in order to combat the novel corona virus. The key goal of this teaching program is to
educate three groups of students so that they can bring certain techniques or methods into action
in order to fight the epidemic and support the country in eradicating the virus. The teaching plan
will, therefore, include courses on understanding the novel corona virus, its infectiousness and
how the spread can be preventive by implementing certain strategies.
Teaching plan for each of the groups:
Group 1: A daycare for children 3-5 years and their parents-
Children must be made aware of this pandemic and they must be informed how they can
prevent the virus in a manner that they will understand and acknowledge.
SMART GOAL for enhancing knowledge among children:
Goal 1:
Creating awareness on frequent hand wash for 20 seconds and monitoring their adherence
to the same.
Prevent frequent touching eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands and avoid putting
toys in their mouth and note down the improvement they have achieved within the time
span of 1 week.

Goal 2:
Parents must make sure to disinfect house and floor and monitor whether the children are
maintaining hand hygiene at home.
It is also necessary to disinfect their toys, especially for small children.
Avoid outsiders in entering the house and touching their children with contaminated
hands and clothes.
Discard or keep the clothes for washing after coming back home.
Monitoring health of the children and seek immediate medical assistance if necessary.
Group 2: A group of young boys and girls from YESS-
SMART GOAL for enhancing knowledge young boys and girls from YESS:
Goal 1:
Educating them on the importance of hand hygiene.
Educating them on social distancing.
Informing them about the common symptoms and when to seek medical assistance.
Students should do a great deal to ensure that they feel secure and healthy.
Enable students to avoid and tackle anxiety about the various responses they may have,
stating that they are natural reactions to an unexpected circumstance.
Incorporate the idea of social distancing emphasizing on positive health
behaviors, covering noses and sneezes with cough and washing hands.
Encourage them to connect and express their feelings.

Goal 2:
Giving them written projects and assignments for assessing their existing knowledge and
also enhance their knowledge regarding the infectiousness and severity of this diseases
and why this virus is an international concern.
It is also important that this virus affects individual irrespective of their cultural
backgrounds or ethnicity or race, socio economic conditions or literacy and thus everyone
has to implement the preventive measures in order to combat the disease.
Group 3: A group of healthcare attendants recently graduated and now employed by a continuing
care facility-
Health staffs are at the frontline of every outbreak response and are thus vulnerable to
threats of being contaminated by disease-pathogens (COVID-19 in this case). Risks involve
diseases, long hours work, social distress, fatigue, burnout in jobs, isolation and physical and
psychological abuse.
Goal 1:
Health workers should adopt existing health and workplace protection policies, minimize
exposure to safety and health hazards,
They must participate in workplace safety and health training offered by employers.
Goal 2:
They will track reported and verified cases rapidly via existing public health monitoring
procedures.
They must put personal protective equipment correctly in place, usage, taking off or
disposal; then, if anything occurs they must self-monitor symptoms of disease then self-
isolation or disclose disease to superiors.
