Fintech as financial innovation for seamless banking experience: challenges
in the fintech implementation in Saudi
Introduction
The term Fintech is defined as a financial technology that is mainly utilized
to define new technology that seeks to enhance and automate the delivery
and utilization of financial services. It is an effective technique that is used
by the companies to manage financial processes and operations
(Anagnostopoulos, 2018). Fintech has the potential to enhance the
operational activities in finance and in banking sectors, this technology is
used to manage financial processes. There are various challenges faced by
the banking sectors in Saudi while implementing Fintech including
credibility, discovery, customer relationships and many more which will be
discussed in this paper. A literature review will be added in order to review
the findings of previous articles related to the research topic.
Overview and significance of the proposed study
Fintech is the application of new technological advancements of services
and products in the area of financial communities. It refers to any business
which includes advanced technologies for improving financial services and
processes. In Saudi, many banking sectors use the concept of fintech in
order to manage financial operations but they also face data handling issues
(Chong, 2015). This proposed research focuses on the challenges or issues
linked with the fintech. In this generation, the use of fintech is increasing
rapidly and it is important to implement such technology in a reliable
manner for addressing further operational issues. The major significance of
the research is to determine the key issues associated with the fintech and
challenges faced by the banking sectors in Saudi. This study will be

beneficial for the banks in Saudi as it will identify the risk factors that lead
challenges in the implementation of Fintech technology and provide
effective recommendations.

adaptability of the customers to fintech implementation in Saudi

Relevant literature
It is argued that fintech is an advanced technology used in the business
communities and in the last five years various articles were published that
highlighted complete information about fintech. This proposed literature
will review the findings of recent articles and determine the challenges
faced by the banking sectors while implementing Fintech solutions. The
intention of the literature search is to enhance skills in the area of fintech
technology and evaluate the outcomes of the recent investigations.
Gupta and Xia, (2018) determined that fintech is a term utilized to define
financial technology in the business communities and in banking sectors it
