The historical lens, which is being used in the scenario stated above, is known as an
Economic lens.
I think it is an economic lens since an economic lens indicates one in which the focus is
put on the fundamental economic conditions of a circumstance. In this statement, the influx of
immigrants of Irish into NYC had numerous different political and social dimensions.
Nevertheless, the author is concentrating mainly on the economic dimension since he illustrates
how their existence drove wages down for some workers.
Week 1 responses-Number 2
I believe that a political lens has been used in this statement. This is because of the
scenario talks of an immigrant being appointed to the public office. Also, being elected a
governor of a particular region is part of the political lens.
Week 1 responses-Number 3
The historical lens used in this scenario is known as a religious lens (Huang & Wang,
2019). This is due to the fact that the scenario discusses about the immigrants of Iris being a
dominant take part in the Catholic Church of American.
Week 1 responses-Number 4
The historical lens used in this scenario is known as a social lens. This is because it
discusses how immigrant women, which is a social team, were seen migrating to the US in the
20th century.
Week 1 responses-Number 5
My research paper would contain the following questions:

HISTORY 3

and the housework together?
When the newly appointed president Andrew Jackson took control of the office,
how did he proceed with the work of the Lincoln?
In what way did the death of Lincoln affect post-civil war about African
Americans?
Week 1 responses-Number 6
If I were to write a research paper that discusses Title IX, I would be interested in
knowing more about the following:
Is there any relationship between Title IX and women’s suffrage movement?
Want was the initial aim of Title IX?
Week 1 responses-Number 7
One of the research questions that may address the experience of the immigrant of Irish
via the lens of the history of political remains:
As the Irish immigrants started to settle in the United States, what were their political
outlooks on a developing American Country? Did they take part in politics?
Week 1 responses-Number 8
One of the research questions that may address the experience of the Irish emigrant via
the lens of economic history is:
With the food shortage being that major reason for the migration of Irish migrants to the
United States, what were their talents and trades that assisted them to survive? How did the Irish
emigrants diminish or enhance the United States economy?
