Title of the project
To identify the impact of cross-cultural working- a case study on Caltex Petroleum.
Brief context problem
 Caltex is a famous Australian petroleum brand dealing from Techron Fuels to Caltex
Lubricants.
 Sometimes, petroleum companies face certain problems regarding cross-cultural attribute
while dealing in other countries.
 Like Caltex face so many issues while managing their working in South Africa which
associated with ethical values. Managers have lack of abilities to manage individuals
coming from various cultures.
 Thus, major issue or problem which faces by business is cross-cultural working which
enhances business employee turnover each year due to poor management.
 Such kind of problems will be going to address in this managerial project proposal for
Caltex.

The specific problem or issue to be investigated
Seeking to find out: To find out the impact of cross culture on business and its activities.
Not Know: A major thing which defines lack of description is associated with the definition of
cross culture at the workplace (Luthans and Doh, 2018).
Management decision: Management promotes activities at the workplace so that each and every
individual culture understands properly.
Importance: It is important for Caltex to control their employee turnover which rises due to
cross-cultural discrimination.
Why does it matter: It really matters because the organisation is a place where vast individuals
work together for accomplishing a single objective.
