which certain resources are find out from the internal via web-based applications and tools, as
against to a direct link to a server. It is a useful technology for the company to share their
information, software and resources through a network. Thus, such technology is essential and
valuable tool for the all business enterprise to achieve better outcomes easily (Bayramusta and
Nasir, 2016). In this research project, chosen organisation is Wiser which is a recruitment
company in UK. They provide a home services for new generation who dream big and require
more.. In order to complete research activities in systematic manner, researcher follow a specific
process. This process includes some steps such as research Title, objectives, aims, questionnaire,
methodologies, literature review, data analysis and interpretation, conclusion and
recommendation. All these are main and useful phase which is required by the investigator to
complete each and every activity of research project in a systematic and proper manner.
Research is identify as one of the essential and useful aspects which is used by each and
every organisation to identify opinion of people. (Botta and et. al., 2016). In order to identify
impact of cloud technology on business operations, company conduct research activities which is
useful for them. Cloud technology is one of the essential form of digital technology which is
used by Wiser to maintain and transfer information to the clients. Cloud technology consists of
different features, such as storage, transferring of data etc. Customers would be capable to access
their data and application from any place at any time period. They approach the cloud computing
system following any computer connected to the internet. Cloud computing boasts different
attractive advantages for companies and end users. There are some benefits of cloud computing
for the company such as scalability, business continuity, collaboration efficiency, flexibility of

company to improve their profitability and performance within an organisation.
Background of the project
Wiser is a recruitment and creative business, giving a home for youth who dream large
and expect more. They specialise in offering full service of talent acquisition from employer
branding and website develops to recruitment and on-boarding methods. The business entity is
built on values considering being real, taking ownership, backing yourself, expecting more and
being smart (Taylor, Fritsch and Liederbach, 2014). Company decide to implement digital
technology in their business operations to maintain record of their customers and employees.
There are different number of digital technology such as small media marketing, website, cloud
computing, Mobile application and many other. All these are essential and valuable for smooth
running of business operations. With the help of cloud computing, Wiser easily store and transfer
data related to clients. It is also useful for the enterprise to accomplish their wanted goals and
objectives within predetermined time period. Cloud technology is a computing style in which
flexible and scalable information technology functionalities and activities are delivered as a part
of service to external audience following internet technologies. Such technology not a
revolutionary plan, it is an organic process and concept that incorporate different existing
technologies or tools to offer an essential new IT provisioning techniques. Therefore, growth and
performance of the company is depend on the cloud technology.
Research Aim:
It is identify as most basic component of the research on which entire project is based. As
it is refer as an announcement or declaration in which the research issue is said in viable manner
(John and Wheeler, 2015). The main aim of this research project is “To analyse the influence of
cloud technology on business growth and performance.” A case study of Wiser.
Research Objectives:
It is important part for the researcher to identify value of cloud computing. This section
of the study is based on the research aim which is prepared with the help of dependent and
independent variables (Gangwar, Date and Ramaswamy, 2015). In this research aim, business
growth and performance is dependent variable which depends on Cloud technology. Some

theoretical framework for research activities as to get over the research issue. It is effective and
important in providing all accurate data about specific field of study. In order to collecting in-
depth and detail information, literature review is more effective and valuable aspect of the

workforce while business tasks and achieving set objectives and goals of the organisation. It has
positive relation which is essential for the company in different ways including managing
growth, improved collaboration, lower costs and secure data backup. There are different ways
that show the better relationship between cloud technology and business performance. Cloud
Computing Decreased the Cost of Conducting Business, it maximise productivity and
profitability of company, it makes life of people easier and provide multiple storages and backup

order to implementing cloud technology in the workplace, Wiser face different challenges some
are determined as under:
Cost: According to the Parker, (2016) Cloud computing technology is affordable or low-
cost, but moving the platform as per the needs of company can be expansive. Moreover, the
expenditure of transferring the information to public can show to be an issue for small-scale
projects and short-lived. Therefore Wiser can save few money on management, acquisitions and
system maintenance. However company subject to high investment in additional bandwidth.

Also inefficiency and lack of routine monitoring to measure frequency scales further lead to
increment in cost.
Downtime: It is a significant and essential shortcoming of cloud computing. Cloud
technology makes Wiser dependent on their connectivity, so business with an untrustworthy or
devious internet connection likely desire to think twice before implementing cloud technology.
Thus it is a main challenge for the company which effects on business operations and activities
in a direct manner.
Security and privacy: It is one of the main challenge for the company is how to addresses
the privacy and security of cloud technology while adopting it. Different attacks and hacking to
cloud infrastructure would impact multiple customers even if only single site is attacked.
Therefore it is the main challenge which is faced by company and its effects on its performance
in direct manner.

the issue about recording all information safely. In this researcher, investigator nit able to
identify different ways to increase performance and profitability of Wiser through cloud
technology. Another gap in the literature review is investigator face lack of time and cost which
will also impact on implementing digital technology at workplace.

what people think but also why they think so. It is an exploratory research which provide insight
of problem and also help in developing ideas and hypothesis in relation with potential
quantitative research. There are very methods which are used to collect data in Qualitative
research such as interview, group discussion, observation etc.
Quantitative:- It refers to the research which collect information for quantifying the
problem by using numerical which is further transformed into usable statical data. It is generally
used for quantifying data related to attitude, behaviour, opinion which is a result of larger sample
population (Lupton, 2014). This research basically uses measurable data in order to find out the
facts and uncover pattern in research. Various methods used for collecting quantitative data are
surveys, face-to-face interview, telephonic interviews, website interceptors and systematic
observations.
Apart from this there are two sources of data through which information is collected in
order to conduct a research project which are as follows:
Primary data :- It refers to the method of collecting information where a researcher
collect fresh data which is not yet been compiled or published (Hashem and et. al., 2015).
Primary data is original in nature and directly related to the issue of a particular problem for
which it has been conducted. This data is collected from various sources such as interview,
survey, questionnaire etc.
Secondary data :- It refers to the data which is collected by a researcher for another
purpose and at different time in past but is used as a sources for finding conclusion of current
research. This data is available to researcher in the form of written, typed or electronic form.

information collected from government department etc.
Sampling: In order to answer the questions of research, it is doubtful or uncertain that
investigator should be capable to gather information from all cases. Therefore, it is needed for
the researcher to choose a sample. The whole set of cases from which investigator sample is
made is known as a population. Sampling techniques is divided into two parts such as probability
and non-probability. In case of probability, it means that each and every component in the
population has a better and equal possibility of being considered in sample (Laudon and Laudon,
2016). Under non-probability, it is often related with qualitative research and case study research
design. In this research project, Probabilistic research sampling method is useful for selecting
sample size because this approach not require more time and money which is valuable for the
small organisation. In this research, selected sample size is 40 respondents which are state taken
in Simple random approach.
Research is most essential concept which plays vital role in giving detail information
regarding a particular field of research and assist in analysing the problem of previous study. In
addition, it is important for the each and every organisation to collect information from the
respondents about the topic. In a research project information and data are collected by the two
main sources such as secondary and primary. Both are useful tool for the researcher to gather
accurate and relevant information (Puthal and et. al., 2015). While conducting research activity,
it is important for a researcher to have a proper skills and knowledge regarding the area of
research activity which are essential in reaching at better and final results. It is important and
necessary for Wiser to have a proper knowingness about tools and techniques which are suitable
in conducting a research work effectively. Some are determined as under:
Cost: It is referred as main and key aspect of large as well as small organisation. It is
needed by each and every business to complete all activities in a proper and systematic manner.
Therefore, it is needed by an investor to maintain a proper flow of capital and fund in relate to
conducting entire research activities effectively (Palaiologou, 2016). The actual cost of this
research project is not maximum as in this observation or measurement is completed among the
30 respondents who are following cloud computing. It is more effective and beneficial for the
investigator to gather information by their personal experience.

used by the researcher to collect accurate amount of information. In this researcher only used,
primary, qualitative, research approach, design, sample size and so on. All these are help the
researcher to gather accurate amount of information from the respondents about the research
topic. For example: Primary source of data collection method highly support the researcher to
gather accurate information. With the help of Random sampling method, investigator also select
sample size from the large number of population.
Ethical issue: In order to conducting research activities, researcher face different issue
which has a direct impact on the completion of study. In the particular research, time and cost
are considered as main problem which requires to maintained by investigator at the period of
organising research (Sabi and et. al., 2016). It is also important for investigator to maintain the
personal information as to ensuring their customers regarding the security and privacy of their
individual data. Investigation also requires to retain the flow of capital and funds in regard to
conduct each and every activities of research in effective and efficient manner.

opinion and point of view towards research project. In order to implement cloud technology in
the organisation, it is the project of company which is completed by the researcher in systematic
and effective manner.
Cloud technology is effective on operations and activities of Wiser
Cloud technology is refer as an essential part of the digitalisation which is useful for the
company to achieve better outcomes. According to the above finding it can be concluded that
cloud technology is useful for the wiser in form of saving cost. It is also effective because it
offers better way to the Wiser to stored data from any web-enabled devices at any period and
primarily from any places (Schniederjans and Hales, 2016). This statement is agreed by more
than half respondents because as per their opinion, cloud technology help the enterprise to
smoothly run their operations and activities.
Relationship between cloud technology and growth and performance of organisation
Performance and growth of the organisation is based on digital technology which is said
by selected respondents. As per their point of view cloud technology positively effect on
organisation performance and growth. According to the above mentioned information, it can be
determined that half of the population are agreed as cloud technology support a Wiser to improve
their performance and growth (Nambisan, 2017). Cloud technology is effective for overall
growth ODF association. This techniques helps to perform work in effective and appropriate
way. Cloud technology helps managers of Wiser to store data of employees and client in
systematic way which helps to give appropriate solution.
Type of challenges faced by Wiser in implementing cloud technology at work place
In order to implementing cloud computing at workplace, company face various
challenges including Cost, Downtime and Security and privacy (Stergiou and Psannis, 2017).
According to the above finding, respondents are agreed as cost is major factor the highly
influence on business performance and development. Downtime and security and privacy
another main challenges for the organisation while implementing digital technology at
workplace.

There are different ways recommended to the Wiser to improve their performance level
by applying various tools of cloud technology. As per the respondents opinion Cloudability and
Enstratius are major tool for the success and growth of company. AtomSphere is also essential
tool but is costly and need knowledge workforce. As a conclusion Enstratius and Cloudability
are most useful and valuable techniques for the Wiser to enhance their performance within
predetermined time period (Gonzales, 2016).

CHAPTER 6: CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
CONCLUSION
From the above mentioned information it has been determined that cloud technology is
one of the main and effective part of digitalisation. As per the above findings and discussion that
define the cloud technology is important for the company. In this more than half of the
population are agree and remaining are not agree because they say such type of technology
require more time, cost, knowledge people etc. Main purpose of the company by adopting this
technology is to maintaining and transferring their record to the clients. It is more effective
technology for the growth and performance of company at large scale. As per the above finding
that determined cloud computing benefited to the business to achieve better outcomes within
predetermined time period.
RECOMMENDATION
As per the above mentioned information, it can be recommended digital technology is
more significant and effective tool for the organisation. It will support an enterprise to achieve
better results by providing quick and fast services to the customers. There are some
recommendation to the Wiser which are explained as under:
 Company should provide training to their employees who has lack of knowledge about
technology (Kim and Shin, 2015). After this, they trained and able to easily attract large
number of customers towards business products and services.
 Wiser should use another types of technology like mobile application, social media and
so on. All these will also support the business to easily maintain long run sustainability at
large scale as well as maximise customer base.
 Company should innovate in their product and process which will also assist them to
achieve better results within predetermined time period.
 Wiser should also use different source of fund when they collect accurate amount of
money and implement cloud technology at workplace.
Consideration of alternative research methodology:
There are certain alternative method of research which is used by investigator to gather
accurate amount of information in an appropriate manner. Interview is a best method of
alternative research which is apply by researcher to gather relevant amount of data from the

respondents. But as per the research topic, questionnaire is more suitable and useful for the
investigator because it not take more time and money of the researcher.
REFLECTION
Research comprises systematic and creative activity undertaken to get appropriate result
related to specific subject.. It is based on culture, society and human and the application of this
knowledge to devise unique use (Botta and et. al., 2016). Data collection is referred as an
essential method of collective accurate and relevant information from the respondents. Beside
this, primary and secondary source are effective technique which is used by the researcher to
gather fresh data from the selected respondents. In case of primary source, questionnaire will be
prepared and drawn which will support in gaining information from the customers. On the other
hand, in case of secondary source, magazines, journals, books will be applied which will
beneficial for the researcher to assemble the data regarding the Cloud computing which is needed
to be executed by the Wiser. Primary data is effective to select information for some specific
purpose. This method provides appropriate and correct information related to specific project.
This data is collected by researcher himself, so this helps to perform give more accurate and
relevant information. Secondary data is effective for collected information from large population.
This saves time and cost of researcher.
