proper way. It is considered as a strategic approach which is adopted within human resource
administration. This involves different kind of function that is executed by management team for
accomplishing appropriateness within talent administration. This kind of function includes
recruiting & provides reward so that individual person performs their work in proper way. This
research is depend upon the topic related to talent administration in which there are different
kind of issues arise that is connected to talent administration is discussed. It will aids assistance
in assessing strategic approach related to talent administration adopted within organisation. It
also provides a discussion regarding the effect of talent administration on role of HR while
handling talent within business organisation (Ghaffari, Rafiei and Sahranavard, 2018).
Background of company
The research is depending upon function that is executed by McDonald for handling
talented subordinate within business organisation. McDonald is considered as an American fast
food organisation which is founded in the year of 1940 by Richard and Maurice. There are
around 2, 10,000 subordinates perform their work that helps them in increasing their sales and
profit margin in future period of time. Therefore, it will aids assistance to investigator in
gathering data and executing research in more appropriate manner (Marinakou, 2019).

The current is research is depend upon the topic of assessing how the effect of talent
management on role of HR. The primary reason behind selecting this topic is that there is a
different kind of problem that is confronted by organisation connected to talent administration.
The issue and problem are confronted by organisation connected to handling talent and executing
work in proper manner. The benefits of study aids assistance in addressing these kinds of issues
in more appropriate manner. It also aids assistance in improving various skills that is used for
performing different task in an appropriate manner (Graham and Cascio, 2018). The reason for

selection of selection of talent management as it provides information about the impact of talent
management on the role of HR. In relation to professional career, this investigation provides
profound understanding about the role of HR and effects on talents management which is helpful
in understanding HR related organisational issues. Apart from this the personal interest in the
field of HR is satisfied with this investigation as it explores the world of HR. This investigation
is also helpful in enhancing management skills as this study explores concepts related to talented
management and identifies impact of talent management on HRM. This subject is selected for
the investigation as it will help me gain skills for future development by increasing skills and
knowledge associated with talent management and HRM.

As per point of view of Goldberg (2019), talent administration signifies methodology adopted
and process of recruiting talented subordinate that help in achieving objectives in timely manner.
In assistance of this, the process involved assessing vacant job position, boarding proper
candidate, improved needed skill and many more. It is assess that there are various talent
administration pillar which is talent improvement, talent retention, acquisition of talent, and
talent engagement. It is significant for HR manager of McDonald to handle talent in an
appropriate manner that helps in sustaining subordinate in proper way. Thus, the talent
administration is very important in increasing level of performance, enhancing productivity,
improve image & many more. The primary objective of handling talent activity is to achieve
objectives of organisation in timely manner. In addition to this, talent administration provides
allowance to company to retain talented subordinates who possess ability to execute different
activity in more appropriate manner. Therefore, it helps in increasing performance of business
organisation and achieving objective in timely manner. And, it is assess that talent administration
is more appropriate when company integrate different factor which is positive subordinate
experience, rapid assigning of talent and strategic HR team (Why Talent Management Is
Business-Critical, 2020). It is considered that through improving or recruiting talented
subordinate, the organisation focuses on facing risk and performing different task in more
appropriate manner.

As per point of view of Hallman (2019) , handling talent is determined as a more difficult
and needed in company. Talent strategy is more significant rather than another strategy of
organisation. It is the procedure of recruiting right individual person along with correct skill for
available job position. The HR role is to adopt plan for handling subordinate within business
organisation which involve recruiting qualified subordinate along with competitive background,
assessing and handling salaries, promotions and many more. Thus, talent management
emphasised on different kinds of activities handled by HR team (New Research Suggests HR

functions which are performed by HR in order to retain subordinate for a longer period of time.
They focus on recruiting talented subordinate in order to retain them for a longer period of time.

According to Mcllvaine (2019), McDonald’s is a leading fast food chain, founded in the
year 1940 by Richard and Maurice Donald in California. The Donald brothers opened their first
outlet at San Bernardino. The restaurant was later taken over by their franchisee Ray Croc who
led the expansion of the restaurant around the globe in the year 1961. The restaurant generally
operates on the franchisee basis by providing licenses to the franchisers. The target market of
McDonald is families, children, business executives and teenagers. The company has approx
1200 outlets in United Kingdom only and has a workforce of approx 97000 employees. The
process of talent management adopted by McDonald's that is going to be mentioned below:
Assess goal of organisation and its requirement it is necessary for executing talent
management process is to develop job description as well as specification in order to acquire
talent within organisation ( Why HR is at the Heart of McDonald’s New Golden Age, 2019).
Sourcing and attracting talent it is very important for success and attracting top talent by
using different platforms is Linkedin, Twitter and many more. Therefore, there are different
methods which are used to find new candidate in order to perform different task in an appropriate
manner.
Recruiting and selecting herein, the management team of business organisation focuses
on recruiting and selecting talented individual person within business organisation in order to fill
available job vacancy.
Employee retention Herein, the organisation focuses on recruiting superior subordinate in
order to retain them for a longer period of time. They provide opportunity to subordinate to
retain in organisation for a longer period of time.
Promotion promote the individual person in new role is determined as a opportunity
provided to candidate in order to retain them for a longer time period.
Performance appraisal their focus is on assessing the performance of individual person
to assess true potential level. Therefore, the main purpose is to assess performance in order to
execute different task in an appropriate manner.
