to college. One of the crucial reason is the personal development and it help to adopt a
learning attitude. There is huge chance of improvement as college set some goal and avails
the student with every possible resources that can enhance their personality.
With the emergence of more and more occupations that require advanced education, a degree
is important to success in today`s world. Undoubtedly, college students develop some
reasoning skills, which are needed to take life decisions. When I was searching the reasons to
know that college is important, there were several reasons that came into way such as good
jobs can be attained only with a minimum bachelor degree. Other more reasons can be
boosting the financial practical understanding, degree holders are likely to be householder,
earn a longer life, boosts happiness, and it is believed that they are not likely to face any kind
of unemployment. Completing a degree from a renowned place correlates to higher
employment, higher wages, better rating of financial health. Attending college attracted me
because college provides a platform where exists many career opportunities, degree makes
retirement comfortable, and promotes healthier living. Most important, I as a student wants to
grow my personality by building good relationships with the people around. A college
becomes a medium to interact with people and students become socially active with the help
of several co-curriculum activities. A college becomes a medium for personality development
and enables a student to look into the society issues. Moreover, an educated citizen is asset to
the country as it actively takes participation in elections and also understands the
responsibility of a citizen that provides the country “a good citizen”. It is seen that with
college degree a person improves the lives of the people around. I started my college with a
spirit to learn and improve my personality but side by side, I became aware of society
problems. Then, I joined NSS camp so that I can serve people. College gives us an
opportunity to donate blood in two to three times and perform charity to the workers. Most

importantly, serving to the children who do not have enough resources to access the basic
education. The college conducts several camps and workshops to aware these slum area
people about the hygiene and also the importance of education for their children. In small
workshops, we conduct basic education campaigns. Apart from this, these slum area people
do not sufficient resources so colleges provide a proportion of money to these societies to
help them by providing the basic amenities. Moreover, college also undertakes to conduct
several cleanliness campaigns in order to promote the importance of living in a clean
environment. Although, working for the society is not compulsory but it gives a sense of
internal satisfaction. The environment remains so enthusiastic that I always swing in all the
co-curriculum activities. My college has delegated me a greater sense of social responsibility
in catering the social problems related to different social groups by improving their lifestyle.
Apart from inculcating the social spirit to serve people, attaining college will never remain
with any of the aspect occurring in nearby environment. It gives a sense of power while
taking decisions for the future or for the betterment of the family. Attaining college enabled
me to exist in dynamic situations and made me strong enough to deal with hardships.
Whenever I confront a difficult situation then college learning makes me patiently. Rather
than becoming so panic while confronting a difficult situation. Education helped me to
transform my though process especially it enabled to gain knowledge that improves
population and the society. Co-curriculum gives an opportunity to interact with different
people in different colleges during inter college competitions. Regular colleges plays an
important role in transforming the personality because it gives a greater chance of exploring
all the areas, which are not available for professional courses that do not require regular
college. A college degree never get out of demand, as it has become a basic requirement for
any job.

From the above reflection, it can be concluded that college not only enhances the academic
potential in a students but also aware him regarding many co-curriculum activities such as
conducts tournaments, inter-college competitions, and many more. During the learning
process, college also conducts various social campaigns that can engage their students and do
some good in the name of college.
