TITLE: To examine key concept or finding in organisational development in Public sector: Case
Study of National Australia Bank .
INTRODUCTION
Organisational culture is on of the most important aspects of an organization. Culture is
the way of performing of enterprise including behaviour and values creates a unique recognition
or social environment of a company. Public sector includes those organisation which aims to
public serving despite of gaining profit orientations. It is required to make variables changes in
the behaviours and techniques of company for catering new outcome or reach new goals through
reconfiguring the framework. The analysis of effective performance and changes of organisation
called transition development which occur for motivating and inspiring the workers. In the
present era of industrialization, digitization and modernization, change is required for evolving in
market that company make by management of knowledge, learnings and transformation of
norms f enterprise.
This is a research study on organisation development understanding key elements,
diversity at workplace, performance management in Nationals Australia Bank i.e. is public sector
corporation (Ahgren and Axelsson, 2011).
1.2 BACKGROUND
Organization development is an activities that consist of systematic and ongoing
procedure of implicating impressive change of company. This is a scientific study of
environment which aid the businesses including public, privet sector for make varies according
to the environment and trends. The nature of OD is disciplinary that draws on psychology,
sociology involving learning, motivating and personality theories. Evolution of enterprise
includes the performance, measuring success and developing the idea through change. This was
firstly introduced by Richard Backhard in 1960 who states that the planning, managing
expanding organisation requires OD for growing the affect of it on the public. Public sector need
this for creating and impact and understanding the consequences, to keep a hold on the consume
and users of facilities. Later to aware and transform structure according to the interest if people,
the companies adopted this technology. National Bank of Australia is financial corporation deal
with earnings, market capitalism and consumers which is ranked as one of the four biggest
financial companies. The company in 2014, was 41st ,largest bank in the world which have
decreased and come to 49th in 2016.
