leaders to guide their workers towards the activities. To boost the performance of the employees

towards work. So, in this presentation the discussion will be made on the leadership skills to
convince the management in relation to improving the performance of the employees. The main
aim of the presentation is to enhance the knowledge of the different leadership styles that are
used by the leaders. The company selected for the task is Big 4 Holiday Parks which is one of the
biggest companies in the hotel industry.
Leaders have the responsibility to control the activities and also to boost the performance of the
employees by guiding them and by inspiring them in their routine activities. It has been said that
to bring improvement in the employee performance, it is important to use positive leadership
skill, so the leadership skills that can be used are many. One of the leadership skills that can be
considered to boost the engagement of the employees is communication. Effective
communication is considered by Big 4 Holiday Parks as the powerful tool that enhances
interaction and also brings work clarity in the overall working pattern of the employees. The
leaders in the workplace should focus on boosting the transparency so that trust can be generated
towards the activities of the company. When leaders communicate effectively with the
employees then it can be easy for them to clarify their doubts and queries with the higher
authority (Akmajian et al., 2017).
Also, if the leaders in Big 4 Holiday Parks have the communication skill that it can be easy to
boost the confidence level of the employees which will directly be related with enhancement in
the overall activities towards the work. Through effective communication it will be easy to create
interest towards the activities and also critical thinking will be boosted of the employees. To
maintain coordination in the overall activities it is also important to communicate with the
employees so that they can share their views and thoughts easily with the management and can

coordination of the team and also it can help in maintaining the relations of the employees with
the higher authorities and also with the other employees who are working in the workplace. By
motivating the employees, the interior positive feeling of the employees can be boosted and also
it will help in boosting the customer service given by the employees. It can be easy for the
employees to give their best towards the activities which can also result in maintaining the large
customer base with effective relations with the other employees in the workplace (Gray, 2018).
To be positive towards the work is also the skill that should be present in the leader. To enhance
