INTRODUCTION
Strategic management is that type of management in which organizational resources are
required to achieve goals and objectives. Such management involves setting of objectives,
analyzing the competitive environment, analyzing the internal organization, evaluating strategies
and ensuring that management adopts appropriate strategies to deal with situations existing
within in an organization. Such kind of strategies also helps in maintaining of environment
within an organization. Under this management rolls out the strategies. Scope of this
management is very wide because it deals with the business and its process. Nature is wide
because it influences decision making and strategies formation within a business organization. In
these file things that has to be covered in this file is going to be based upon Nissan that is an car
manufacturing organization and is situated in North England. Thing that is going to be covered is
leadership and management, training and development and talent management.
MAIN BODY
Leadership and Management
Leadership and management are two major aspects of an organization that helps an
organization in growing itself. Also these help an organization to establish within the competitive
market (Ferreira, Fernandes and Ratten, 2016). These are responsible for generating of profit and
financial resources within an organization. There are certain role that is required to be perform
by leaders and characteristics that is persist by them and they are as follows:
Role of leaders in Nissan
Inspire Trust: The role of leader is to build trust among the employer and employees which is
going to lead towards positive impact of it upon an organization. For Nissan leaders has to
maintain relationship of employer and employee by making the best out of them.
Create Vision: It is the responsibility of the leaders to create a vision which defines about
intentions of an organization. Leaders in Nissan has been able to achieve there vision by
satisfying its customers.
Execute Strategy: Leaders are also responsible to execute with the strategies in such a manner
that growth of organization becomes positive a gains speed in it. Nissan is going to be benefitted
in a manner that its leaders is able to execute the strategies in effective manner that efficiency is
uplifted of all employees in performing a task.

Coach Potential: In this the main focus of leader is upon the performance of employees and
their ability to solve problems by making them part of organization. Nissan’s leader is required
this to make and employee feel that he is part of organization. This is also going to help in
getting suggestion from employees.
Role of management in Nissan
Role of management is a discipline that consists of five general functions that is planning,
organizing, staffing, leading and controlling. That is why management is considered to be one of
the most important parts of an organization. In an organization like Nissan management is
required to enhance its performance and increases its production. Also management is going to
promote optimum utilization of resources which is going to help in saving of resources in order
to utilize them in case of emergency.
Theory related to leadership
In Behavioral Theory, the focus is on the specific behaviors and actions of leaders rather
than their traits or characteristics. The theory suggests that effective leadership is the result of
many learned skills (Ferreira, Fernandes and Ratten, 2016). This is going to be helpful for an
organization like Nissan in a manner that it is going to motivate leaders to learn various skills
like technical, human, and conceptual skills. That is going to help them in creating example in
front of employees in an organization like Nissan. Also behavioral theory is going help Nissan
and it leaders to identify those skills that is important to maintain growth of an organization.
These skills can also lead towards over all development of an employee which results into
making their relationship stronger and makes them provide with solution to various problems in
an organization.
Systems Management Theory
Systematic management is that theory which is responsible for providing an alternative
approach to planning and management of organization. This systems management theory
proposes that businesses, like the human body, consist of multiple components that work
harmoniously so that the larger system can function optimally (Ethiraj, Gambardella and Helfat,
2016). According to the theory, the success of an organization depends on several key elements
within it like synergy, interdependence, and interrelations between various subsystems.
Employees are one of the most important components of a company. Other elements crucial to
the success of a business are departments, workgroups, and business units. In practice, managers
are required to evaluate patterns and events in their companies so as to determine the best
management approach. This way, they are able to collaborate on different programs so that they
can work as a collective whole rather than as isolated units. This theory is very much beneficial
to an organization like Nissan in a manner that it is going to provide an proper structure to
manage all problems and reduces their risk in an organization. Also it is going to provide with
