This study analyzes the government's response towards the COVID-19 pandemic in Virac, Catanduanes. It examines the implementation of public health orders and protocols, correlation with demographical profiles, and effectiveness of measures taken. The study aims to measure the effectivity of government responses and identify areas for improvement. The target respondents are residents of Virac LGU who are mainly affected by the public health orders and protocols. The study sets limitations on variables such as incompetency and absence of response from LGU officials. The research hypothesis suggests that the government's response may prevent or control the spread of the virus, and demographic factors may influence the response. The study is significant for the respondents, aspirants of LGU positions, faculties of Catanduanes State University, and future researchers.
