various forms of methods and techniques are being utilised by the researchers to measure or
assess for measuring social phenomenon. These methods provide explain and analyse and
provide different predictions to the observed form of phenomenon or the type of behaviour.
Models and different form of statistics is used for the study (Hussain, et. al., 2016). A
statistical form of method is a form of scientific process of conducting a process of behaviour
of population that is trying to analyse the general form of characteristics for any specific area
of the tourism sector. Information statistics and record of various institutions are being
obtained. Quantitative methods are emphasis zing research with the help of statistics.
Quantitative research is generally focussing on convergent reasoning instead of convergent
reasoning and focuses on detailed and numeric data analysis. The main characteristics of

International travel and tourism sector has grown up significantly in the recent years as
people are now fond of travelling for leisure. More people are travelling to international
destinations for leisure. This growth has significantly impacted the travel and hospitality
industries. Growth in the area of tourism sector also significantly driving the growth of
hospitality sector tremendously. After proper analysis it has been observed that international
travel has grown up between 3 and 4 percent in 2017. This research has also covered the GDP
growth of tourism countries of the world. It has been found out that Tourism and hospitality
are developing as a key sector for the job creation and economic development in worldwide
forum. In 2016 alone tourism and hospitality sector has created $ 2.3 trillion and 109 million
jobs globally Tourism and hospitality sector alone has indirectly contributed to $ 7.6 trillion
to the global platform and generated approximately 292 million jobs only on 2016. This is
almost 10.2 percent of the total GDP of the world. Tourism and hospitality sector are growing
because of travellers (Hussain, et. al., 2016). Generally people are travelling for business and
leisure purposes internationally and locally. If compared 76.8 percent are travelling for the
business purposes while 23.2 percent are travelling for the fun or leisure. Tourism is a
prominent sector for the development across all continents globally like the countries such as
Greece and United Kingdom and Thailand these toll is account of 3.4 to 9.2 percent of world
GDP. Economic benefits of the Travel and tourism council has not been shared equally.
World travel and tourism has promoted the sustainable growth of the tourism and hospitality
sector and working jointly with the local government organisations and international
institutions to generate prosperity and dive exports. Globally approximately 16.5 million of
hotel rooms have been shared by tourists also the growth of technology and the digitalisation
has also given the significant impact on the tourism and hospitality sector as the customer and
tourist are becoming more comfortable in assessing the room bookings. Many hotel booking
apps has been also increased significantly that have been giving boost to the hospitality sector
(Hussain, et. al., 2016)..

Qualitative Methodology
Another approach that has been used in understanding the roles and impact of tourism are
also analysed in this topic for the better understanding of the mentioned topic. Qualitative
methodology describes about the understanding required for applying a diverse range of
qualitative methods that are used to explore, understand and interpret a given form of study
and object. This methodology in tourism sector undertakes various inspirations from social
and cultural sciences such as sociology and anthropology. The objective of this research is to
explore and discover the understanding by the help of empirical studies that are help in
generating rich form of collecting material and generating rich descriptions. Qualitative
research methodology are often characterised by a high level of sensitivity and reflectivity to

is collecting data or information directly from the respondent. The interview is a technique to
verify the hypothesis or to describe the phenomenon of social sciences. It includes the
planning guide for invention strategies and a thematic guide for listening. There are various
advantaged of the interview process. The main primary benefit is that it helps in
understanding the emotions and attitudes of investigated people. It also helps in determining

management tools. The globalisation has created the opportunities to develop the skills of the
staff through training and skill development. Globalisation process has impacted on the
various factors of long term growth prospects of the hospitality industry. Innovation in the

Tourism and hospitality industry has been often criticised for having the unnatural form of
expectations on the different forms duties they may be allotted and consequently the form of
skills they are expecting to exercise on entry into the tourism and hospitality industry.
Tourism and hospitality industry generally neglects the entry of different form of students
and new comers in this industry due to lack of experience and professional management
degrees in this sector. In 1996, Formica published a detailed study on the hospitality and the
tourism sector in America and Europe that have examined a study on future trends and
examined programs (Ayeh, et. al., 2012). In this study, he has argued that there was a form of
international movement that has supported the hospitality education from its vocational form

system have impacted primarily in the up gradation of the user experience in tourism and
hospitality sector. There are major travel companies that are prevailing around the world that
have evolved and uplifted the face of tourism and hospitality sector. Areas of high natural
resources appeal more to the tourists among the various industries. Tourism is developing on
the global platform at very rapid pace and sometimes it is only source of revenue generation
for developing nations (Walker, 2012)... Tourism is the vital factor of many individual in
different corners of the world. Tourism and hospitality both are also large scale revenue

global level has developed the infrastructure and improved the environmental conditions at
the different parts of the world globally. Major heritage destinations around the world has
developed the landscape and also helped the authorities in preserving the destination that are
rich source of heritage well being of the global landscape. Thailand government is increasing
the foot fall of tourism and also simultaneously the hotel industry and improve the
expectations of the local people and upgraded their standard of living. Tourism and heritage
sector are also help in preserving the rich source of suitable development of the global
climatic conditioned along with the development of heritage culture for the future
generations. Employment opportunities along with the development of the tourist destination
(Walker, 2012).
