INTRODUCTIONIn Australia, tourism sector is one of most popular industry as compare to all.Seasonality is a universal factor. Seasonality has been a striking facet of tourism in differentparts of world and it is one of the main problems experienced by this sector. The tourism sectorhas grown from small element in global development throughout the world (Tsai and et.al.,2015). In this present report, Queensland is been chosen for assessment. It is second largestand third most populous state in Commonwealth of Australia. There are number of issuesregarding seasonality that affect the destinations of Queensland's destinations, social,economic, environmental and cultural. The main focus of this essay is on issues that seasonalityhas on its tourism sector and host community. MAIN BODYTourism sector is one of most popular industry as compare to all in Australia. It is one ofthe most essential element of the economy of country. In the year 2016-17, tourismrepresented 3.0% of Gross Domestic Product of country. Queensland is very beautifuldestination of Australia, about 24 million domestic and overseas visitors come to visitQueensland in a year. Seasonality has been a striking facet of tourism in many parts of world.There are many places that are attraction points like Great Barrier Reef, Whitsunday Island,Fraser Island and Sunshine Coast Queensland (Minazzi, 2015). These are the most famousplaces of sited destination. Thus, there are some issues regarding seasonality that is verychallenging phenomenon to modify as because it is not able to control by anyone. Climaticconditions affect all aspects of a destinations like economic, cultural, social and environment. Itis very important to consider all these issues when thinking about to modify the seasonal designof tourism to a destination. It becomes very challenging to manage seasonality changes overlong term. It is very difficult to achieve changes successfully as because these are natural. It hasbeen noticed that destination become unattractive and uninviting “out of season” that affectsthe growth of tour and travel industry, their business does not able to make profits (Xiang andet.al., 2017). They run their business in loss when there is no season. Queensland is areascovered largely with water, about 121,991 km is water out of 1,852,642 km. Thus, Queensland1
