Deemed as one of the most popular tourist places in Australia the south eastern state of
New South Wales is the home to beautiful coastal cities and luscious national parks. Sydney is
the capital city of the state and also is one of the most commonly known places in Australia. The
gorgeous breath taking view of this state offers tourist from around the world with extraordinary
picturesque view, lip smacking and delicious cuisine (Ruhanen, Whitford & McLennan, 2015).
Sydney is a well connected city and every international flight can take tourists directly to
Sydney. This is one of the major reasons why Sydney is among the most popular cities in
Australia. The city has a snail like structure and has numerous tourist attractions. Some of the
tourist places of Sydney are: Bondi beach, Tronga zoo, Sydney opera house, The Coathanger or
the Sydney Harbor Bridge, ferry ride to Manly, Camping on Cockatoo Island, and the Blue
Mountains national park (Guide to Sidney, 2017).
Sydney opera house
Designed by Danish architect Jørn Utzon the Sydney opera house has taken almost 15
years to construct this building the construction had begun in 1959 and was completed in the
year 1973. The building is now regarded as the national cultural epicenter. The tourists can
indulge the senses with a stunning view and tour along with world class performance and dining.
The venue consists of a concert hall, opera and stage show theatres, a playhouse and a studio. It
showcases many of worlds artists work and has garners appreciation, respect and demand from
the world of performing arts. The building is now an iconic picture of Sydney. The multi
dimensional structure is the theater of performing arts. It serves as a beacon of creativity and
technological achievement of the city. It is located perfectly within the setting of the harbor on
Bennelong Point. The structure of Sydney opera house id unique and has gathered a lot of

critically acclamation as one of the most recognizable structure of the 20th century. The structure
consists of a gigantic red granite stage and the roof of the structure looks like white shells much
like the shells that are laid in the sands of the beaches (Ribas, Gutiérrez & Sebastián, 2014).
A range of tours are offered, from the keeper-led Wild Australia Experience to the VIP
Aussie Gold Tour of native animals. The Sydney opera house has been offered the tag of World
Heritage. The tour of the site offers the tourist an alluring experience of the intricate engineering
of the unique shape of the building along with extraordinary cultural experience. It takes almost
amount an hour to see the entire site in doing so the tourists can enjoy and savor good food.
There are tours organized on a daily basis from 9 in the morning to 5 in the afternoon. There is
several language preference of the guided tour as well (Guachalla, 2017).
There is also provision for the tourist to go back stage and that is a separate section of the
tour which takes place at around 7 in the morning. This tour is for two hours and enables the
people to go and have a look at the magnificence of the backstage. There is also provision for the
tourist to have an exclusive breakfast in the green room of the building which is restrictive
otherwise only to the performers. For a layman the backstage experience will be like a once in a
life time experience as it allows the people to get a closer look to the lives of their favorite artists.
Apart from the above guided tour facilities for the tourists there are also other tours and
testing plate combined tour. This place is also the house of some of famous chiefs and the
tourists are given the opportunity to enjoy a three course gourmet meal in the building with its
breath taking view. This facility is available for the tourist form 11 am. There is another package
for the tourist called The Red Carpet that allows guests to pamper their taste buds with fine
