INTRODUCTION
Tourist destination is the key concern of modern era as it has given rise to varied
concepts such as urban and responsible tourism where maintaining sustainability of travel
destination is essential for travelers as well as tour operators. The assessment is focused on
analysis of junior product analyst of Travel Titan who will outline 5 tourist destinations which
are key income generator and have increase visitors numbers in comparison to other travel places
across the world. Further, it will discuss cultural, social and physical feature of travel places to
develop understanding over their appealing factors. Thus, it will be identify issue which impact
popularity of tourist destination and potential for responsible which enhance values of host
community.
TASK 1
1.1 Tourist destinations and generators of world with regard to income generation and visitor
numbers
Tourism is the major contributing industry across the globe where the focus of tourism
service provider to serve travelers satisfaction and maximize income generation. The five tourist
destination of UK and Europe are France, Spain, Brussels, Amsterdam and Portugal. IN
accordance with this, approximately 87.7 million travelers arrive in France from where the
country is able to maximize more than 90 million returns. Apart from this, tourist arrival in Spain
is approximately 75.6 million and contribute 16 % of total earning to Spanish gross domestic
product. Further, Brussels have 6.3 million visitor each year which denotes its growth and
economic contribution for development (Capone, 2015). Further, the increasing number of
visitors on leading tourist destination reflects improvement like, wealth and job creation.
However, France is one of the leading tourist destination with 90 million travelers every
years. The success of tourist activity is denoted by country, physical, social and cultural factors
where the destination aim at serving respect to immigrants, travelers, visitors regardless of any
difference. The ethical values of the country are reflected by its literacy rate which is 99 %. The
french government do not compromise on educational standards which is the best support to
economic growth and development.
France is most supported tourist destination because of its cheese, wine, love,
compassion, fashion, beaches and monuments (Khodadadi and O’Donnell, 2017). Tourism
industry of France contributes 77.7 billion Euros to gross domestic product of french economy.

As per this, contribution it is articulated by junior product analyst of travel titan that 30 % of
contribution is from international tourist whereas 70 % is from spending from domestic tourism.
In 2013, it was reported that 85.7 million international tourist traveled to France while in 2016
tourism business contributed 198.3 billion Euros to GDP which is huge amount and denotes the
growth of industry and destination.
However, from the analysis of junior product analyst it is determined that tourism
employment in France created 2.8 billion job opportunities directly and indirectly which reflects
support of government to the tourism business. The example which indicates France as most
popular international tourism destination is most visited tourist attract of country that is Disney
land with 16 million visitors, Eiffel tower will 6.3 million tourist and Louvre with 9.5 million
travelers.
1.2 Statistics determining current and future trends of tourism destination
As per Oppewal, Huybers and Crouch, 2015, it was identified that in 2016 there were
82.6 million international tourists in France. The increasing number of tourists in France denotes
implication of digital technologies like social media advertising by tourism firms, travel agencies
and hotel bookings has transformed the ease of meeting customer expectation. It can be said that
the France is the major supporter of technological equipment and tools which attract tourist and
supports comfortable experience in country which is the major advantage to industry which has
boosted income and visit of international travelers. As per increasing global population, it is
