Trauma-Informed Care involves a set of frameworks and structures to identify and respond to trauma effects. It highlights psychological, physical, and emotional safety to help bring back the consent and sense of control. The three concepts of Trauma-Informed Care are Person-Centered, Strength-Based, and Recovery-Focused. Person-Centered concept focuses on the whole person and values the patient's choice. Strength-Based concept detects the patient's resilience ability and creates resources available to boost their resilience. Recovery-Based concept includes expert skills from the nurse such as hope and their perspectives on the service user.
