In structure of travel and tourism, there are six main components are included. The tourist
attraction is attractive places which are mostly visited by tourists. For travelling there will be a
need of transportation. The visitors travel through car, bus, trains etc. TUI group provides
accommodation facilities to their customers and tourists. In this type of facilities includes guest
houses, hotels etc. and these all are included in a single travelling package. It is the
responsibility of travelling agent is to provide these all facilities to its customers. The first
priority of tour operators is to provide better quality services and to fulfil the needs and wants
of their tourists. From some holiday packages, they gain some concession or profit for their
services. The travel and tourism sector is one of the most growing or developing sector in all
over the world. In structure of travel and tourism includes:
Attractions- In attractions includes natural and man- made visitors attractions. The
natural attractions are those places which are not made by man. They are naturally and itself
made or can say it is created by God. In this includes lakes, rivers, beaches, mountains, rocks,
island etc. they made visitors attractions are those which are created through human being not
nature. In manmade includes Eiffel Tower, museums, colosseum, great wall of china, the great
pyramid of Giza, London eye etc. These are some places which visitors are mostly visit. So,
tour operator has to travel destinations according to their demands.
Transportation- It is required at the time of travelling. It is a basic source of travel. It is a
responsibility of hotel and tour operation is to provide transportation like car, bus, trains etc. It
should be included in main package. The tour operator of TUI group is provided its visitors bus
and cab facilities and send cab for pick them from airport.
Accommodation- It is a living facilities. In this, tour operator provides hotel, room, villa facilities to
their visitors.
Tour operators- It plays most important role in travel and tourism sector. They give
reasonable and attractive holiday packages to people. They sell their packages directly to people and
throng any travel agent. They should know all languages for proper communication with visitors. If
they do not know any international language, then there will be difficulty to them as well as their
tourists and from this they will not understand each other.
Tourism development- The board of tourism sector gives some information related to the
region involving to prospective tourists. The information board of tourists is obsessed with to give
advertisement and promotion in any form. The TUI group do some promotional activities to promoting
its travel sector. It gives promotion with the help of television, newspapers, radio, banners, holders etc.
For gathering any type of information and advice this business firm conducts research programme. To
develop its tourism sector, this organisation provides training to their employees for improving and
enhancing their skills, abilities and knowledge. With the help of this, their performance will be good
and their give service to their customers in well manner.
Travel agents- Their job and role is to selling the brochures of travelling. Travelling agents
are work as a mediator between people and tour operators. In a country, there are many travelling
agencies which provides tour brochures.
