CRITICAL REPORT
Introduction
This report focuses on the analysis of Tribute limited website which is the largest music production
company based in United Kingdom. The report looks at the technologies used to create this website
explaining why these technologies were used over the others. In this report also, an analysis on the
website’s usability and accessibility is done by evaluating various usability features of this website as
well as recommending any changes if need be. Finally, the report highlights some of the improvements
that could be done in order to improve the quality as well as the usability of Tribute Limited Website.
Technologies used
Tribute Limited website is an informational website created using html and css technologies. The use of
html for this website provide a proper formatting of the website’s texts as well as the images (Ericae,
2018). It is the html code that tells the browser how to display the websites as well as where to place
the websites objects such as images and texts (Answers, 2018). Based on this aspect, it is therefore
evident that html provides the structure of the website while the cascading style sheet (CSS) gives this
structure a look and feel aspect (Rebuildingtheweb, 2018) hence the choice to use these technologies to
create tribute website as shown below.
Usability and Accessibility
Website usability is the ability of users to understand the website and transverse across it. There are
many usability features that are very critical for the success of any website (Insivia, 2018). These
features include the ease of navigation, the design of the website and the content contained in the
website (Idler, 2018). These features are of great importance since they define what the website is all
about and how easy it is to use it.

CRITICAL REPORT
In order to understand the usability and accessibility of Tribute Limited Website, a thorough evaluation
of this website is carried out by analyzing various usability and accessibility elements. The evaluation of
this website was carried out based on these elements as discussed below.
Ease of navigation
There are four navigation tabs which lead to the following pages respectively: Home, Find us, Portfolio
and Contact. Users are able to navigate through these pages using the navigation bar easily (Nielsen,
2012). The navigation bar is present in all pages and therefore it is easy to go back to the previous page
by just clicking the right navigation tab on the website. The two side bar which include Music News and
Top Songs UK provide links to external resources that can be important to the users.
Design
This website design is responsive to any platform and this makes it accessible across any device which
include laptops, smart phone and tablets. There is also consistency in the design and each element is
replicated in each web page at the same position (wiseGEEK, 2018). This makes it possible for users to
understand as well as memorize different functionalities and elements of this website hence making it
easy to use. However, in order to make the design more attractive, all the elements should be placed on
one container so that they don’t appear to be separate as shown below.
Content
The content of the website is the information represented in the website. Considering that the Tribute
Limited website is meant for the music production company, it therefore should contain information
related to music industry as it is the case now (Spritzweb, 2018). The content of this website is therefore
