Handy's cultural theory.
hofstede cultural theory:
it is the model which is used to gain knowledge related to cultural differences across countries
and how business carries across borders. It has six elements which are:
power distance index:
it is index which ascertain that at what level power and inequality can be tolerated. Inequality
will be seen from followers point of view (Beugelsdijk and Welzel, 2018). If there is high power
distance index than culture prevails inequality and give respect to high authority only. Whereas
low power index will represent such organizational structure which are flat and giver importance
to power distribution.
Individualism vs collectivism:
Individualism refers that more importance are given to the personal goals. Person focus more on
themselves. Collectivism refers that focus should be more on group goals rather than individual
