This research project aims to determine the ways used by the UK tourism industry to deal with the impact of COVID-19 and ensure future sustainability. The study focuses on EasyJet, a Swiss low-cost airline operating in 30 countries. The research objectives include analyzing the significance of maintaining sustainability within the UK tourism industry, recognizing the methods used by EasyJet to deal with the issues of COVID-19 and maintain future sustainability, and determining the benefits gained by EasyJet by using sustainable business practices in terms of business functions. The research methodology involves qualitative research and secondary data collection using thematic analysis. The findings suggest that sustainability is essential for the tourism industry to attract and retain customers, protect the environment, and increase sales. The research concludes that embracing sustainability in business functions is significant for the travel industry to protect the environment and uplift the overall brand image.
