INTRODUCTION
Leading change refers an ability of leadership which makes several changes in an
efficient manner in order to accelerate changes initiatives. An effective leading change requires
to have an active participation of the entire company in sustaining important changes.
This report will take British Airways & Virgin Atlantic airlines for this case study. It is
an airline in the UK. It is considered the 2nd largest airline in the UK as per its fleet size which is
approximate 281. This report will compare some examples of different organization where there
has been an impact of changes on their strategies and operations. It will also analyse different
ways in which external and internal drivers of the change effect the team, leadership, individual
behaviour in a company. This report will conclude some measures that can be taken to minimize
negative impacts of change on an organizational behaviour. This report will explain some
different types of barriers to the change and also determine how they influence leadership
decision-making in the company. At the end of this report, it will apply different leadership
approaches to dealing with the changes in company.
