There are various effects of that climatic change on the company. The issues faced by
the Tesco company-
Domestic legislation – There are various legislation followed by the company.
Companies were given certain emission credits in which they have to release the certain
quantity of gases in the the air. So if firm discharges more amount then the credits then
they have to buy additional credits hence it affects their profits. So hence it will reduce
the profits of Tesco. This results in less productivity of the firm so hence it cannot
maintain unique position in the market. Thus it cannot expand the business which
hampers the growth of the company.
Changing the process of the goods and services – If there is increase in transportation
cost or the higher electric rate then company has to incur extra expenses on the trucks and
the cost of electricity of the warehouses. So hence it increases the supplier cost whop
transports the materials to the company. Thus company has to charge extra cost from the
customer. So customer suffers due to this change. Company also have to bear the
additional cost which hampers the productivity and the profits. So this reduces the sales
