INTRODUCTION
The development and growth of any business organisation needs the proper
understanding of the different strategies and proper implementation change for meeting the
proper change which is helpful in the growth of any business organisation. The business
organisation needs to develop the way for understanding the implementation changes in the
workplace. The understanding and leading change process focus on the different process which
identify and determines the problems which creates the hurdle in the achievement and growth of
the organisational objectives (Cole and Stavros, 2019). The main aim of the leading change
management process is to reduce the barriers and obstacles of the business by understanding its
objectives from different perspectives. The given report has chosen the Sainsbury's for
understanding the leading change process. The Sainsbury's is the supermarket in the United
Kingdom which forms the chain of second largest supermarkets. The Sainsbury's provides the
clothes, electricals, groceries, clothes and services to the peoples (Moyerand Sun, 2021). The
given report has focused on the different changes which is needed by the Sainsbury's for
competing with the other business organisation. The different models of the change management
process has described in this report for enhancing the knowledge of overall content of the
business. The report has also described the importance of the changes in the workplace. The
change process not only provides the new ideas in the development of any business organisation
but also provides the new way which impact the activities and operations of the business.

The Sainsbury's is the supermarket which was established in the 1869. The Sainsbury's is
famous for its high quality and delicious foods at the reasonable prices. The Sainsbury's has
more than 1428 shops which is divided into Sainsbury's supermarkets, Sainsbury's banks and
Argos. The company sells 23,000 products lines to the 1400 suppliers in all over the world. For
enhancing their performance the Sainsbury's has focused on the different sustainable approaches
which increase the optimum utilisation of the resources for increasing the activities of the
business (Gerada, 2020). The different approaches which has used by the Sainsbury's in order to
enhance the profitability by maintaining the sustainability of the environment are online delivery
and refillable packaging. The online service of the Sainsbury's company has saved the time of the

customers and this service has increased the sell of the products. The refillable packaging is the
environment friendly process and it is reusable so it decrease packaging waste.
Overview of the company ASDA:
The ASDA is the supermarket company which was established in the 1949. The
company's headquarters is situated in the Leeds, United Kingdom. The company provides the
groceries items, clothes, home equipments and other services to their customers (Pantano, Pizzi
and Rogers, 2020). The company also deliver their products and services through the online
delivery modes to their customers. The ASDA has introduced different strategical changes in
their super markets. The company has developed the Quieter hours for the customers who is
disable. The company serve theses people between the 2 pm- 4pm by providing them good
facilities and welcoming environments. The ASDA has made changes in their supermarket for
serving the peoples having the disabilities.
SWOT analysis of the Sainsbury's
Strengths:
Strong market share with diversification: The Sainsbury's has 1200 supermarkets,
grocery stores. The company has the longest super market chain the United Kingdom. The
company share 16.9% of the market share to the their customers and providing the loyalty to
their customers (Borrell and et. al., 2018).
Providing the good quality of the foods: The Sainsbury's privileged the more than 3000
ready made meals with high quality according to the HPI brand. The Sainsbury's focus on the
customer demands and provides the best quality of food and products to their customers. The
company has reduced the sugar content in the cereals for providing the healthy food products to
their customers without changing the taste of the products. The company also provides the
different varieties of vegetables and gluten freed bread.
Weakness:
Single operating markets: The companies has very low margin in their food business
because of the single marketing. The single operating market system of the Sainsbury's increase
he limitation in achieving the goals (Pettinger, 2020).
