INTRODUCTION
Every business organisation like to get higher profit through their business. To get high
business, there is need to continue improve in the business operation in which it is essential to
take care of change in the business operation according to demand and necessity. To stay in the
market and for higher profitability, it is essential to increase the productivity in which require
high demand. This can be generated through making better and effective product that are
effective and can be in demand that fulfil customer needs. With time, customer demand gets
change and to stay in the market and competition, there is need to implement some change in the
organisation which can match the change demand and able to compete with new demand and
provide quality and better product in the market (Goyal, C. and Patwardhan, M., 2018). Towards
this, there is also need to implement some changes in the business organisation which can be
effective and enable business organisation to perform well and get higher business through
enhancing their productivity. There are various processes where issues are identifying or to
improve it there is need to change some operation and activities. Here, implementing change
help to cope with changing demand and enable organisation to accomplish their goals and
objectives. TESCO Plc is one of the highly growing business leading organisation with
enormous grocery stores. They are engage in retail sector with general merchandise and
groceries. In this report, there is discussion about the significance of adopting change within
organisation. It also includes evaluation of leadership approaches with various change
management (Ahmad, M.H. and Ismail, S., 2018).

TESCO Plc. Overview
It is British multinational company that have large number of grocery stores in various
countries. It has headquartered in Welwyn Garden City, England. It was founded in year 1919 by
Jack Cohen. Tesco has expanded themselves since early 1990’s with operating in 11 different
countries. Tesco diversified themselves in area of retailing like clothing, electronics, toys, petrol,
books, furniture, software, telecoms, financial services and many more (Sultan, 2020).
They are also providing different sustainable product that provide better positive impact to
environment and attract large number of customer base for the business. They also implement

the optimum utilisation of resource that also play an effective role to save environment and
provide better and effective response towards use of resource and producing minimum waste.
They also introduce towards the online services which increases their range and provide large
number of customer base. They also use the refillable packaging facilities which contribute
towards the minimum use of packing material (Sunny and Salathiyan, 2022).
Asda overview
Asda refers to a British supermarket chain that have headquartered in Leeds, England. It
was founded in year 1949 and expanded in Southern England (Barker and et. al., 2021). Asda
also offer assistance for insurance along with payment services with mobile phone provider.
They also contribute in providing different value to their customer in which they apply strategic
changes in supermarkets. Asda has introduced Quieter hour between 2PM- 3 PM where they
serve people with disabilities through proving more welcoming environment. Here, they consider
customer with additional need to provide some additional values within society (Lunn, 2018).
